Okay, okay.

Your resident alien thingamajig is here after a couple of months' worth shenanigans (beautiful word, shenanigans), and ooh, she's  w r i t i n g !

Jokes aside, yes, I'm actually, decently honestly working and I couldn't be better (in this aspect, at least). So I figured I'd take this opportunity to copy-paste this essay I WROTE (and no, it's not from Wikipedia) for Model United Nations (MUN)-something I've been wanting to attend from Class 7 (which is sayin' somethin'). Just tell me what you make of it, eh?

*clears throat* Here goes!

Large-scale factories and other workplaces had shut down during the lockdown imposed as a means of effort to prevent the rise of COVID-19 cases in the country. A large number of workers were made to return to their native places after the lack of well-paying work had taken a toll on their lifestyle. Millions of workers had to deal with issues like no income, food shortage and the uncertainty of the later months to come. When the lockdown was established in the state, the workers were faced with various issues, from no money to fulfill daily needs to no transport facilities to go back to their homes.

On May 1, the 'Shramik Special' trains were launched by the Indian Railways. These turned out to be a massive failure after the migrants faced a series of trouble, courtesy of the Government and the train system.

Many migrant families have been in a state of disasters, the pandemic and resulting lockdown occurring at a rather unexpected time. The influx of migrants returning from their place of emigration to their parent state has put a lot of pressure on the people who live there. For states that have been shrouded in economic struggles, the immigration as a consequence of the crisis has proved to be a huge challenge that needs to be efficiently tackled.

The unorganised sector, comprising small-scale shopkeepers and people who manage minor private businesses, will most definitely be adversely affected by the pandemic. The lack of proper workforce, issues with budgets and the unreliability of resources(mostly due to the lockdown that was imposed) has caused huge problems for them. COVID-19 has already caused trouble in various aspects, and for the unorganised sector(who do not have a pre-fixed salary to speak of), the effects have been harsh, as they do not have a steady means of income for a lifestyle like it was before.

So, ta da!!!

Y'all know the drill, what do ya think?

Love ya threeeeeeee thousand *gestures wildly*
