Chapter 31 - Surprises

"Im pretty sure she's asleep..."

"Lets wake her up then!"

"Nah, that would be mean"

"Oh come on your no fun!"

"Shut up Im just being a good friend!"

"Yeah cos your the good friends..."

I groaned as the voices continued arguing. How early was it? Who was talking? The last thing I remember before I fell asleep, was crying in George's arms. But now, he wasn't holding me. The bed sheets where half way up my body, and I was curled up under the covers. I could feel the wet patch on the pillow, which I must have stained while crying. I decieded to wake up, since they wheren't going to shut up till I did so, and I was also curious on who it was. So I oppened my heavy eyes, to be met by the stinging rays of sunshine through the gap in the curtains.

"Aaargh!" I yelled, covering my eyes with the pillow, and sighing in relief as the darkness returned to me.

The voices stopped, and was replaced by laughter. The next thing I knew, the pillow was being pulled away from me, and my eyes where forced open. This time though, I didn't concentrate on the light. I stopped and looked at the two people who where responsible for waking me up. I have to know who to payback later. I didn't expect to see who was there though. Who else, but Caela and Jack. They where sitting watching me at the end of the double bed, with innocent grins on each of their faces. Jack had his arm around Caela's waist. And then something caught my eye. Something which I could see the reflection from a mile away. You couldn't miss it. It was a ring.

I gasped and suddenly, I forgot how tired I was. I crawled quickly across the sheets, until I reached the end of the bed where Caela and Jack where sat. I then held up Caela's hand, and studied her finger. Yep. I was right. It was on her wedding ring finger. I gave Jack a glare, and he gave me an apologetic look. How dare he do it when Im not there? I was the only one he told! But I guess, I did end up in hospital the night he was supposed to do it.

"You-you..." I tried to get words out, but I was in too much shock.

"We're engaged!" Jack finished for me.

A huge smile broke across Caela's face, and her eyes twinkled a way I had never seen them twinkle before. I looked to the both of them. They where both looking at each other, with the same look on their faces. Love, happiness. I could tell how much they loved each other by just looking at them. Mrs Hamblett would love these two. They really where a match made in heaven.

"Im so happy for you both!" I squealed, jumping into Caela's arms.

She laughed and hugged me back. Jack then joined us, turning it into a group hug. When Jack's body pushed against mine, I couldn't help but admire the hardness of his stomach. Its like being hugged by a rock! He's been working out a lot. After a good five minutes of hugging, they let me go, and I stumbled back onto the bed. I wasn't tired anymore though. Not at all.

"Where's George?" I asked.

"Him and the boys went out early in the morning with Louis. He had a surprise for them or something, and they also had to chat about where the boys are going to stay and the X Factor tour and stuff. So we asked George if we could visit you!" Caela smiled.

I nodded. I had nearly forgotten about the X Factor tour. I was so excited! But before that, there was something else to look forword to... christmas! Its the 20th today. Only five days until I will meet the Shelley family. Im not going to lie, Im nerves.

"Thats cool! So what we going to do today?"

Jack and Caela looked at each other, and smiled. Jack nodded. I tilted my head in confusion.
