Chapter 10  - This Relationship was a Lie..

"I can't believe your leaving me for that friend of yours! Seriously Char, its like you don't care anymore!" He kept shouting at me on the phone, every word sending a pain of guilt to my chest.

I knew I was blowing him off, and it wasn't good. Also, maybe I didn't care. Thats what hurt the most.

"Well maybe I don't!" I shouted back, soon regreating it.

"What?" His voice tone changed. One minute he sounded stressed and angry, but now he sounded more dissapointed and hurt. Nice on Charlotte.

"Maybe I don't care!" I kept telling myself to shut up mentally, that I was just making it worst. But somehow, I couldn't. My mouth spoke the words before I could think.

"You- you don't? Charley can I ask you something?" I gulped and nodded, then realised he couldn't see me. "Y-yes." I stammered, nibbling on my nail nervously. Was he going to break up with me? Would it be that simple? Or would I have to do it?

Even though I was sure I didn't love him, it was still a heart-breaking decision.

"Have you ever cared? Or did you just go out with me for Andrea's sake?"

I took a deep breath and shook my head lightly. The truth was about the come out. Our whole relationship had been a big fat lie. I was quite sure he didn't love me either.

"I've cared, but I.. I don't love you Mark. You've always been more like a big brother or friend to me. It never felt right, you know? It never felt right being boyfriend and girlfriend. It felt.. akward and wrong."

I suddenly felt much better. Like a big weight had been taken off my shoulders. The truth was out. I spoke every word truthfully. Now it was his turn.

After a minute of silence, he replied.

"I'm sorry you felt that way Char," He frowned, "But I do love you."

I hesitated, shaking my head to make sure I wasn't dreaming. He loved me? Wait.. how did that work? All this time I haven't loved him.. he's loved me?

"I always have, since the minute you walked through that door. I knew you where right for me, but apparently Im not. So what does that George boy have that I don't?" He asked annoyed.

I felt stunned. First he says he's always loved me, now he thinks I fancy George? Pfft. As if.

"What the hell? I don't fancy George!" I huffed. I could almost see him rolling his eyes at me.

"Oh pleeasee. Char, Im not that stupid, I've seen the way you look at each other!"

What, was he on about? I couldn't help but smile though. George looked at me in a.. way?

"So whats going to happen to.. us?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Us? Well we should stay together. Seeing as I love you..."

I cut him off. What an idiot he could be sometimes. "But I don't love you!"

There was another silence. This had to be the most awkward phone call ever.

"So.. we're over?" He asked, quietly. I took a deep breath.

"I, I thinks so." I confirmed. I heard a cut on the line. He had hang up.

There we go. I was now officially single. And ready to mingle.

Haha, no not really, I don't think I'll be having another relationship soon..

I ran up and down my bedroom, searching for the top. "Where is it!" I mumbled angrily at myself, while I flung clothes on the bed, onto the floor.

"Aha!" I grinned as I finaly found it and shrugged it on. I was wearing casual, but cute clothes. My hair was up in a high ponytail, and my feet where covered with vans.

"Hurry up Char, we've got to go!" An excited Anna jumped into my room. She looked stunning. Her hair flew perfectly past her shoulders, and she wore a cute skirt and top, just like me. Except from I had jeans on, I hate skirts. I hate my legs..

"Woah calm down Anna! Why you in such a hurry?" I asked, winking as I grabbed my phone.

She rolled her eyes and kept walking down the stairs, me hurrying behind her. We where at Anna's right now, since Sofia had gone out with Andrea. They where going to meet us at the hotel.

"Char, we're going to see Union J. How can't you be in a hurry?"

I shrugged as we reached the bottom of the stairs. "Their just normal guys.. plus George is one of my bestfriends soo.."

She laughed silently.

"What?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Please Char, your way more than bestfriends! You two are so perfect together, if you don't see he fancies you, your blind."

"Who fancies Charley?" before I had a chance to deny what Anna had said, another voice had popped up from behind us. We both turned around to see Ryan looking at us, holding an x-box controller and his phone in each hand. He had a bottle of Power Aid in his pocket.

"George Shelley, Char's best boy friend!" Anna grinned, winking at me. I gave her a death glare. She was so dead.

"That boy from the X Factor? What happened to Mark?" Ryan asked.

I hesitated at the sound of his name. Only a few hours ago, I had broken up with him. And I wasn't the slightest bit sad. Just a bit... confused.

"I broke up with him.." I mumbled, looking down at my vans.

To my surprise, Ryan's lips broke out into a huge smile. Then he threw his arms around me. My face widened at I looked at Anna. He kept hugging me for about five seconds.

Anna mouthed "Get in there!" so I stuck my tongue out at her, childlessly. How immiture could you get? I felt nothing with Ryan. Sure he was hot, but I certainly didn't fancy him.

"Nice move, he was a dufus." He whispered into my ear, before Anna pulled me away and outside.

Im glad I wasn't the only one who thought so!

Time to meet the band.

A/N yay shes broken up with Mark! I know most of you didn't like him.. so there you go!

I have to ask you something..do you all want George and Charley to get together soon?

Or drama first then they will get together?

They will at some point though! I promise! Im sorry this chapter was a bore.
