chapter four

Kuroo chuckled, "Well if I'm ugly, I wouldn't have girls trying to date me every week."  The male smugly said while looking at kenma who's playing with pudding.

Kuroo is actually very well liked by the girls in the school. Not only the boy is tall, his slick hairstyle and flirty looks always get girls swooning over him.

"Come on. Let's get back to class." Kuroo said, helping kenma to put his cat back into the bag.

Kenma on the other hand, is portrayed as the 'emotionless yet handsome boy that no one is able to have a conversation with'.

The male have attracted and rejected  countless of girls, leaving them still admiring the male from afar.

Kenma did not think that him rejecting girls is something bad or to feel guilty for. He felt that it was completely necessary to tell the other party directly that he does not have any feelings for him/her.

And kuroo often shakes his head in disapproval at the way his friend handle confessions.

"Kenma, you should at least be apologetic..." kuroo said as he walk beside kenma after the male rejected a girl.

"But I don't feel that way."

"Can you pass up your homework now? Or later?" Kenma asked as he look at the male in front of him who's typing away on his phone.

"Shit. There's homework? Later then." As he immediately put away his phone and search for the work in his bag.

Kenma nod his head and move on to the next table and do the same thing.

As the class leader, he often help teachers to collect homework before the start of the lesson and help  teachers to gather the students to do class work and so on.

Even though kenma looked like he is done with everything, he still do his job with the best of his abilities.

Making the girls admire him even more.

Suddenly in the middle of the class, pudding peak his head out of the bag and touch kenma's uniform with its paw.

Kenma look down and stroke its head, not flustered by the sudden action.

Earlier during the day,  kenma placed his bag under the table after taking all the books out of his bag, leaving pudding inside.

Since kenma sits at the back, no one is able to see the cat under his table.

"Be quiet okay?" Kenma whispered, still looking straight at the board while gently comfort the cat.

After hours of lesson time with a short recess break in between, the class is finally dismissed.

"Kenma kun? Can I talk to you for a while?" A girl with pony tail asked the boy who decided to carry the books with his hands instead of putting it in the bag.

"Oh Irene senpai. Sure." As he stops what he is doing and look at his senior.

Irene yagami is the president of the student council. She often discuss work with two of her vice president which one of them happened to be kenma. So it is normal to see both of them talking side by side in school.

As much as most girls in the school does not want any girl to come close to kenma, a few of them actually thought that irene might have a chance to be kenma's girlfriend.

"The principal wants us to help organise a campaign to promote active reading. So I think that we will have a meeting with the team tomorrow first, and then we will discuss more on how we will plan this." Kenma nod in acknowledgement and continued looking at irene which the girl blushed lightly from the staring.

"Erm...that's all! See you tomorrow!" Irene quickly wrapped up and smile at kenma one last time before she leave the classroom.

Kenma does not mind having to stay back almost everyday. As long as he benefit from it and he does not hate it, he will do the things he needed with the best of his abilities.

"Let's go home pudding." Kenma mumbled under his breath, relieved that he gets to go home now.

"Kenma!" Kuroo called out as he quickly catch up to the boy.

"I think you can take pudding out now."  Kuroo suggest which kenma comply, taking the cat out and put it on the ground.

"meow!" Pudding happily purred.

I'm finally out! As hinata walk around kenma.

The duo continue walking down the road with the cat following them while making small talks here and there.

"Did he made noise today?" Kuroo asked, looking at the shorter male.

"No. He's very obedient. But sometimes he still purr, but it wasn't that loud to be noticed." Kenma replied, looking down at pudding.

"I see..."

"Kenma?" Kuroo asked again, which kenma hummed in response.

"Don't you wish pudding is a human?" The cat perked up its ears, trying to listen to his owner's response.

"I have never think of that." Kenma replied bluntly, having the cat slightly disappointed.

We only met yesterday... So is normal. I mean who would want their cat to be human anyways? Hinata thought to himself.

"But.." kenma continued, "Now that I think about it. Why not?"

Kuroo chuckled, "So that pudding can help you with your chores and errands?"

"He can be my friend too." Kenma added on, "I think I would enjoy his company a lot more than you since I won't have to sneak him in into the school."

Kuroo stare at kenma speechless. Literally the second time the male have insulted him.

"You can wish tonight you know? It's full moon today! I'm going to wish that I will have more hot girls crushing on me till I'm old." Kuroo smirked.

"Okay, I will."
