STUMPY (Walking by Jack's side after selling)
I can't wait to see da doghouse again.
JACK
Oh um yeah, about that Stumpy.... Well, it may be gone.
[Stumpy looks at Jack in disbelief.]
STUMPY
Are ya serious?
JACK

STUMPY
I went to the Pound once and you destroyed our home. Yet when you go-
[Stumpy stops his yapping as both pups stand before a group of people, looking like human versions of them. The people stop and stare at the pups.]
STUMPY (Whispering to Jack)
They look weird.
[One of the humans comes forward, putting out their hand. Jack carefully sniffs it. The human says something to the group and they all walk away, leaving the pups in a state of daze.]
STUMPY
Look at them, trying to be pupsies. Isn't it weird to think that a human could be a pupsie?
