Tris Pov
"Beatrice wake up, first day of school at your new school" My mother yells from my door. I throw the pillow on top of my face and about 5 minutes she comes back and yells.
"Senior year" she says and I just groan getting out of bed. We just moved here so I still have a few boxes to put away but that's just room decor. We have a big house and theirs millions of rooms!Today's Friday so I don't know what I should wear. I walk into my walk in closet and look at the closet and look around. I find a blue shirt and a white lacy pair of shorts. I grab a heart locket and my TOMS. Its a hot day in Chicago. I brush my hair out and curl it a little. Then run downstairs to grab a banana.
"Beatrice I just wanted to tell you that me and your father are not going to be here for 2 months" she says and I almost choke on my water I was drinking.
"2 months really mom" I say
"Sorry we are going on a business trip to Japan" she says and I just grab my car keys and shove them in my purse.
"Whatever mom, see you in 2 months" I say
"Beatrice" she says
"Tris, I like to be called tris" I say
"Okay tris. Your brother is in charge" she says and I sigh
"Why is he in charge" I say
"I'm older and last time mom let you Be in charge you had a house party" my brother Caleb says.
"Fine, got to go. Bye mom have a nice trip" I say walking out the door and to my car. I have a red Ferrari.
I get to school and everyone stares at me. I don't like being the center of attention. Some boys whistle and I just find my way to the office.
"Next" the lady at the desk says
"Hi My name is Beatrice Prior" I say "I'm new" I add
"I was expecting you. okay here's all your paperwork" she says handing them to me and points to the direction where I can find my locker. This school is big. I'm Looking for my locker when a boy walks up to me.
"Locker 464 is that way" he says and I smile. He's cute. Wait no, tris stop.
"Thanks" I say
"So your new" he says walking with me to my locker.
"I am actually" I say and he points to the locker.
"That's cool. Well we should hang out some time" he says
"Don't say yes to that. Four is a jerk" a girl says walking up to me laughing.
"Okay" I say
"I'm Christina" she says "that's four" she says pointing to the handsome boy.
"So you Guys are friends" I say
"Yeah and here comes the other idiots" she says and a whole bunch of other kids walk over to us.
"Four did you see that red Ferrari, now you have someone to compete with" a boy says and I smile.
"Do you know who's is it, we should trash it" another boy says and I look at them.
"It's mine, please don't" I say smiling.
"Oh hi are you new" a girl says
"Yes, I'm tris" I say
"This is Uriah, Zeke, Marlene, Shaunna and Will" Four says pointing to all of them. Then a girl walks over to us.
"Hey boyfriend" the girl says
"This is my ex-girlfriend Lauren" Four adds
"Come on Four, you know you miss me" she says looking at me.
"I don't" he says and his friends laugh.
"Who are you" she says
"I'm tris I'm new" I say
"Interested in being a cheerleader" she says
"I was going to ask if they had a cheerleading squad here" I say
"Well we're full so no" she says laughing.
"Okay then" I say
"Bye boyfriend" she says and walks away with a group of girls behind her.
"I'm guessing she doesn't like me" I say
"She hates everyone" Zeke says
"Especially people who she thinks will take her boyfriend" Christina says
looking at me.
"Why would I steal her boyfriend, they don't even go out anymore" I say
"$5 tris and four hook up at the party tomorrow" Zeke says
"Hook up, party what I'm so confused. You guys are taking this way to far. How do you know I don't have a boyfriend or something. I think it's safe to say we are all friends" I say
"Because you don't, I can tell" Christina says
"Admit it four you like Tris" Uriah says
"We just met 5 minutes ago" he says and I smile. The bell rings and we all head to class. Turns out we are all in the same classes.
Lunch Time
Christina calls me over to the table and I sit next to her and Four.
"So where did you move" Four ask
"Franklin street" I say
"Really that's where we all live in" they say
"That's so cool" I say
"What address" Christina says
"4610" I say
"I live next door 4608" Four says and I smile.
"Looks like we will be annoying next door neighbors" I say
"Looks like" he says and I smile.
"Wait since four has the big rich house next to yours that means you the second one" Uriah says
"Yeah, all the houses here are beautiful" I say
"But yours is gorgeous, we live in the nice but not rich houses of Franklin street" Christina says and I smile.
"You guys want to come over, my parents are on a business trip for 2 months" I say
"So are mine, they went to Japan with new co-workers. There last name was prior" Four adds.
"My last name is prior" I say laughing.
"Wow that's cool" he says smiling.
"I always wanted to know what was inside that house" Uriah says
"It's the same as mine" Four says and we laugh.
At home.
Christina came home with me, so we sit in my room.
"Walk in closet" she say
"Yeah it's my favorite part of my room" I say
"Your house is so cool" she says
"Cooler than fours room" I say
"Way cooler" she says and I smile.
"Thirsty" I say
"Sure" she says
"Coke, pepsi, sprite, water" I say
"Waters fine" she says and I throw her a water bottle.
There's a knock at the door and I look out the window it's Marlene and Shaunna.
