Tris Pov
I tie my one sneaker and grab my crouches. I've learned how to use my crouches and do other things. My phone buzzes on the kitchen counter and its a text from four.
4- hey babe, be over in 5 minutes
T- k I'm just eating breakfast
I set my phone down and finish my bowl of cereal. The door opens and its four. He kisses my head and grabs my bowl and puts it in the sink.
"I could of did it" I say crouching over to the sink.
"I know but your injured" he says holding my waist and kissing me.
"Stop treating me like a baby" I say laughing, just so he doesn't feel bad.
"Sorry, I just care about you" he says
"I know babe, thank you. you've been a big help" I say and we head to school.
We walk in and everyone looks at me. I stop at my locker and Four helps me with my books. A girl walks up to me, from the cheer team.
"Hey Tris, I'm sorry about your leg" she says and I smile.
"Thanks" I say
"If you want I can speak to Lauren about you being on the team. I am the Co-captain." She says
"Well if it isn't any trouble, but I don't want to break my other leg because of cheerleading." I say laughing.
"Your really good at cheer and I don't want her to take it out because of four" she says and I smile.
"Thanks" I say
"Bye guys" she says and my friends walks over to us.
"Hey" they say.
"Hows your leg" Christina says annoyed but I ignore her.
"Wanna hang out today" Zeke says
"Coke or pepsi" Uriah says
"What" I say to Uriah
"Sorry guys too many questions" I say
"Everything's about Tris, Tris that. All she gets is attention" Christina says and the bell rings. She walks away and will Follows. I turn to four and he shrugs.
"What's her problem" Marlene says.
"She hates me" I say
"Don't mind her" Zeke says
"She's pregnant" Uriah says
"What" I yell
"I'm kidding" Uriah says laughing.
"We're going to be late for class" Shaunna says
"We're already late let's skip" Uriah says
"I'm in" I say
"I go where ever Tris goes" four says
"I should probably see if christina is okay before we skip" I say crouching to the bathroom. Will stands outside and waits for Christina.
"I got it" I tell will and he nods.
"Christina" I say in the bathroom.
"What miss attention of the world these days" she says crying.
"Christina whats wrong. what did I do" I say
"Nothing" she says crying. I crouch over to her and sit with her on the floor.
"Chris tell me what's really bothering you" I say
"My parents are making me move" she says. I gasp. "unless I have someone to say with" she says and I hug her.
"Did you ask Will" I say
"His parents said no" she says no and I get an idea.
"Well We have room in my house, do you think your parents will let you stay with me" I say
"I was being such a bitch to you, and now your letting me stay in your house" she says
"I've been tossed around to different schools my whole life since my parents are business workers so I know what it feels like to leave my friends" I say
"If it's okay with your parents, then I would love to stay with you" she says and I smile.
"They don't care, but I'll ask anyway" I say smiling.
"And I couldn't let a friend like you leave" I add, hugging her.
"So I heard something about skipping" she says laughing.
"How about we bring your stuff into mu house so you can get settled in" I say. She helps me up and we walk out to our friends.
