Lydia’s POV
We had arrived at a mall area that had one side as the boardwalk.
It was a crazy afternoon already. Once Harry stopped the car and we piled out, they were spotted and we had to make a mad dash.
“Hey who are you?!” a girl screamed as a heard of them followed us. I had somebody’s hand in mine as we ran and I didn’t have time to see who was dragging me along.
“Why do you have a bandage on your head?!” another screamed. Bitch, rude much?
“Are you dating Harry?” a simple voice asked from behind me. I turned to look at her –even though she was twenty feet behind me and her eyes averted to the figure next to me.
My head turned and I was met with a mop of brown curly hair. I saw his green eyes meet mine and we both smiled at each other while pushing on running faster. Harry squeezed my hand tightly and I squeezed him back.
We broke from the group of people and took a quick escape down a split of the buildings. We ran on –no sounds coming from behind us- and ran like our life depended on it.
We ran even when we could have stopped. He held my hand like he never wanted to let it –or me- go. I never wanted to lose Harry actually. He was a great friend already. He saved my life for god’s sake!
“Harry….stop….slow down!” I wheezed a bit to him. He looked at me, his worried green eyes enveloping mine.
“What?” he asked.
“Harry!!” I screamed as we both crashed to the ground.
I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for pain to come. Where was it? Don’t get me wrong I was happy I wasn’t hurt but…where…what happened?!!
“Harry?” I asked aloud with my eyes still squeezed shut.
“It’s okay you can open your eyes.” Harry’s deep voice whispers to me. I open my eyes to see him lying down next to me with our hands still intertwined but his arm is draped over my waist as my free hand is pressed against his toned chest. I look under us to see that we had toppled over a clothing rack for scarves and cardigans.
“Glad that broke our fall.” I mutter to him grinning slightly.
“Yep that broke our fall alright.” He grins back again at me. We stand up and I immediately release my hold on his hand.
“Is it always like that?” I ask dusting off my tanned legs that were exposed. The jean shorts I wore went to mid thigh which was short but not too short to be called slutty.
“Like what?” he asks shaking his head of hair fixing it. He looks up at me and before our eyes could meet again I look away.
“The fans. Are they always around you even when you want to be alone?” I ask looking around to make sure we weren’t spotted.
“Sometimes, I think the US fans are more forward in this fandom than any other nationality. Bur that’s just what I think.” He chuckles to himself grinning down at me.
“Hey! That’s not fair. I didn’t know I was going to wash up on your beach.” I say rolling my eyes.
“Yeah okay princess.” He grins as he grabs my hand walking forward. I felt my heart race a bit as my face flushed a deep shade of red.
“I told you that I don’t need a savior Harry.”
“And I already told you that you did. And lucky for you I’m off tour right now. I’ll show you the ropes, I’ll teach you a few things. I’ll show you a good time, don’t worry.” he smirks to himself.
