KAITLYNS POV When we reached land I stood up and walked to the grass automatically falling face flat on the ground. "mermaid Kaitlyn!" Taylor yelled. Leo helped me up constantly asking for me to let him carry me. When we reached the entry way we checked each other's bag making sure we had what we needed. We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.

As I was walking up the stairs I slipped on a mushroom hopping with its baby mushrooms, my face almost hitting the cement stairs. Louis caught me before letting go of me.

It was the first time I really stared at her eyes. 16 years being together and I never really noticed how small her nose was, how her skinned glowed in the mid evening and how her eyes, they shined like gems just found deep within the ocean. If you found them itd be to late for you to take a breathe of air, you'd lose yourselves in those eyes.

"Do I have something on my face?" I touched my cheeks and my chin wiping off some dirt. I looked at him before wiping some dirt off his face. "Am i good now?" he blinked still staring at me. "just got a little something." He caressed my cheek wiping some dirt off. I moved back touching my cheek. "I can do it myself Louis, i don't need you anymore." I started running up the stairs. Me and Louis reached the top the rocks leading us to the opening. "Lady's first." He opened the front gate gesturing to the front door.
