KAITLYNS POV
I looked down at the map and back up at the carnival entrance . "Finn... WHAT THE FUCK!" I turned around staring at him. He ran to me looking at the map again. "Don't yell at me I didn't make it, just followed the line or something." Finn shrugged looking clue less.I looked up at Louis seeing a smirk run up against his face. "What is it?" I touched my cheek then my hair making sure I didn't look like a mess. He laughed walking towards me. "you've got something right her-" Finn stepped between the two of us replacing Louis's hand. I think it looks cute on her, always ruing everything." Finn caressed my cheek rubbing chocolate pudding off the side of my mouth, he licked the rest off his thumb and smiled at me.
I gave him a weird look before looking back at the entrance.
FINNS POV
She looked at me before turning her head. I know she tried to ignore my compliment but I could see the smile slowly creep up on her.
"LOUIS!" I turned around looking at Louis. He threw it onto the ground covering his ears fear plastered clearly on his face "Here lemme-" before I could even touch it it blew up into flames questionably making Kaitlyn and I surprised. Louis was still covering his ear squatted down into a defensive way. Kaitlyn ran to him instantly pulling him into a hug."Who's voice was that." I looked at Kaitlyn. "It's familiar but I don't know who, it's not anyone we know, thats for sure." I looked at the burnt radio before handing Kaitlyn some water. "We should get back." Louis stood up wiping tears off his face. "Louis who was that-" he left for the bikes without answering me.
I stood up a deep pain in my left ankle. "whats wrong?" Kaitlyn sat me down on some near by chairs. "Check me knee real quick." She lifted up my pants inspecting my ankle. "It's- it's a butterfly." I looked down at her laughing until the pain came back again. "I'll check the book to see if there's any ointment to heal it."as she was searching through the book I looked at my ankle to see the butterfly moving, it's wings were fluttering. It moved up on my knee making me flinch. It slowly made its way up my hand. I looked at it confusingly, I stared at it before it suddenly disappeared. I flinched when I saw it come back on my left hand. Kaitlyn looked back at me.
The butterfly turned a bright red and grew larger.
It grew an ever brighter red forcing me to cover it up. I could feel my ears turn red as I laughed awkwardly. "Did you find a ointment?" I looked any where but her. "Yea seems like you might have stepped on a daisy." She held up a little glass of pink substance. "buttt it says I must put the ointment on my lips and kiss the wound. You stepped on a love elf's home, idiot."
She opened the ointment dabbing her ring finger in and spreading some on her lips. "Your actually gonna do it?" I asked. She sighed looking at me. "Well if I don't you'll be serving that little love elf forever." She kissed my ankle wiping her lips. "You owe me." The butterfly started to tickle my hand. I looked under to see the butterfly turned blue making me question why it changed colors. "Where's Louis?"
