Mama looks nothing like me. With her brown hair and eyes, I don't want to know what they'd do to her. However, I look German myself, and they most likely wouldn't hurt me as much. I gulped, thinking about my plan.
"Mama, when I step out into the open, run. I'll be fine." She looked at me like I was crazy.
"Drogi! No! I forbid you!" She frantically whispers.
"Too late." I push her the opposite way of where I was going. "Do one thing for me. Stay alive." I step out from my hiding place. The soldiers notice me.
"Now, what's a pretty thing like you doing out in the middle of the woods so late at night?" One asks, smiling evilly.
"I could ask the same about you, boys." I resist the urge to throw up. Ugh. I would rather shoot myself in the foot.
"What's your name, honey?" Another queries. I bite my tongue.
"Klara."
"Klara? What a lovely, Polish, name." A soldier in the front sneers.
"Get her." The most decorated one says calmly. "We can put her into the Youth." The soldiers walk towards me. Mama should be gone by now. I take a deep breath and run.
"Do not harm her!" I hear someone yell. I continue running, but I am soon tackled. I land on the ground with a loud thud, and my head strikes something hard. Then, everything goes black.
Hi again! I'm going to try to update a lot today, because I'm snowed in. Vote, comment, do whatever! Thanks.
