I'm In Love With Cedric Diggory ~ Cedric X Reader

The Brief Encounter.

It is the start of my sixth year at hogwarts and I can't hold back my excitement to learn about Herbology with Professer Sprout, my textbook, Dragon-hide gloves and earmauffs ready to go for the year. I was finishing off checking my mental checklist when I hear a knock on my dormitory door, I answered and was greeted by the face of my best friend Charlie.

"Hey (Y/N) Are you ready for dinner?" She says while leaning back and forward on her heel, "I heard that Dumbledore has a big announcement" I give her a worried smile

"I hope it's nothing bad, it is only the beginning of the school year" I sigh nervously, she smiles sweetly and turns to leave, she looks over shoulder and replies

"I'll be waiting in the common room, don't be too long" I close my room's door with a smile and small nod, I walk over to my chest of drawers and put on my robe while leaving my dorm room. While making my way to the common room I don't look where I'm going and walk straight into a tall muscular student, I lose my balance and fall forwards grabbing onto their robes, I look up to see a handsome young face of a boy,

"Oh my Merlin, I'm so sorry" I say feeling the blood rushing to my face.

"Are you all right?" He asks holding onto my forearms, "you bumped into me pretty hard" he points to my forehead which did hit his hard chest pretty hard, I release my hands from his robe and rub the red mark on my head and look into his caring grey eyes.

"I'm fine, just embarrassed" I say shyly, he turns his head to look over his shoulder, I see a small smirk forming on his face. I scan his face from his dark hair, dimples and sharp strong jawline, I suddenly realise how attractive his is and start to blush even more. He faces me once more and he stares into my (eye colour) eyes, I quickly look away.

"Don't be," he laugh, letting his dimples form again "it would be a lie to say I haven't walked into many people during my years at Hogwarts" I look up at him ready to continue our conversation when I hear Charlie from the common room.

"(Y/N) are you ready, there won't be any good seats if we don't leave now!" Charlie yelled from the common room,
"I'm coming!" I called back, I look at the boy and extend my hand offering to shake his. "I'm (L/N), (Y/N) (L/N), it's nice to meet you" he takes my hand and gives me a warm smile,

"I'm Cedric Diggory, please call me Cedric" I smile and shake his hand.
"Goodbye Cedric." I say while leaving the hallway.

"Goodbye (Y/N)." Replies Cedric smiling sweetly. I walk past him blushing softly into the common room to meet up with Charlie. I link my arms with her and we skip out of the common room towards the Great Hall.
