Chapter 1 : Beginnings (Lionel's POV)

Year 2012 somewhere around early November....
"Why cant my figures tally?" I asked Carol, whom is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ong , my legal guardians . We were at the library studying for our last exam paper which was accounting.
I can consider Carol to be my sister as i have been living in her house for many years and her parents treat me as if i was their real child. I feel so grateful towards their kindness and care shown towards me.
"Kor !( Direct translation from the Chinese word 哥 which means elder brother) i think we have revised enough for today. Let's go eat dinner and return home early as we both are already very tired, my brain is unable to absorb any more theory now..." Carol said as she yawned.
FYI,I'm a BIG fan of Jessica ! She has made me gone wild because of her. She has been my number one bias since i was introduced to kpop in the year 2011 when the annual MAMA awards were held in Singapore. I did not regret watching that event though....

Another school year is closed! Now its the holidays! My everyday routine now is : eat , sleep , badminton , computer games. I had scored decently for my exams hence is able to have a relaxed holiday. My sister scored even better and she topped the cohort.
But honestly speaking I have never talked to her informally. Not even once in my previous years. Not sure why but I think its because she does not like me , an outsider , not a "Ong" to be firstly staying in her house, secondly her parents treating me as if I'm their own flesh and blood. Thirdly occupy part of her room while her older brother gets a room on his own while she has to share her room with her "brother", an outsider.
She has been giving me a hostile treatment ever since i could remember stepping into the "Ong's house" . Well i have no reason to blame her for that. Instead i should be grateful that she allow me to sleep in her room and having such kind hearted parents whom legally are my guardians and took care of me after I arrived in Singapore.
I turned on the television in my living room and I saw SNSD performing. And among the 9 angels on the stage my eyes were hooked on Jessica! She was so stunning! Just then Carol had just came home and as I was curious and wanted to know the name of that beauty I just saw (as she was a massive kpop fan already and would have recognised her(Jessica) . I then did not hesitate for a moment and immediately asked her : "Hey what is the name of this person?(While pointing at the television ?" Carol turned and immediately answered : "Jessica".
Back to the present . it was that conversation that improved our relationship and she stopped giving me the cold treatment and slowly understood me and a years have passed since then and she has found someone who would accompany her to watch Korean dramas , Korean variety shows and talk about kpop . Previously she always pestered her elder brother to watch it with her but to no avail. Her brother was busy playing Dota and other games.
Her brother was 4 years older than us so it was natural that his preferences might differ from ours.I am glad that i was able to be that someone she always wanted to have. I have also recently found my favourite girl group, which is Girl's Day!

Hi guys this is my first time writing stories! Please pardon me for my poor SVA(Subject-Verb Agreement) and poor sentence structures. I would improve my writing skills as I write more! This chapter is dedicated to @PPGGFXion for giving me tips and pointers and encouraging me to start writting!
Ok let me tell you guys abit more about myself : I am a boy who was born in 3/5/1999 .
Im a Singaporean. I like SNSD , Apink , Girl's Day. I come from the West side of Singapore . I would be taking my O Levels this year hence I would not have much time to write but i would treat this as a stress reliver and continue writting and at the same time hopefully improve my english writting skills, Killing two birds with one stone haha!
Yaaaay Jessica created an Instagram account!!!!!!!!! Jessica is my #1 bias (True)
Ok guys shall share more information about myself next time! in the meantime pls comment on what i should improve on and you guys can also go and read @PPGGFXion's stories and support him by voting on his stories! His stories are very well written and he has inspired me to start writting.
