Ross's Point of View
Is it bad that I don't regret kissing Callie? I don't even feel guilty.
That kiss felt right. It felt amazing. Better than any of my kisses with Peyton.
Peyton.
Oh boy..I've got to break up with her. It's really the only way I can be with Callie. And I want to be with her, now I just have to go break someone's heart.
Maybe I can let her down easy?
Oh who am I kidding. This is Peyton Marlie we're talking about. Her dad is a multimillionaire. She get's anything she wants. But now that she'll soon be single, scares me.
What if she hires someone to hurt me?
I mean Peyton is a great girl but you really don't want to get her mad. I once forgot that is was our 2 week anniversary since we began dating, and she threw a tantrum! I ended up buying her a pair of really expensive earrings for her to forgive me.
I'm not going to lie, she kind of scares me.
Too bad I can't have someone else give her the news. But then again she may be even more mad that way.
I decided that I'm not going to worry about it right now and just go prepare for our interview. I just hope she doesn't have any questions about me and Callie. That's the last thing I need. Rumors being spread around while I'm technically still dating Peyton.
But if you ask me. It was over the minute Callie walked into my life.
I got dressed into a black, muscle shirt with a pair of ripped jeans. Along with my famous black, worn out converse. Again, running a comb through my hair and spraying myself with my colonge before exiting my room. Grabbing my phone on the way.
In case you're wondering, I'm already wearing all my rings and necklaces.
I skip two steps at a time down the stairs as I make my way into the kitchen. I quickly greet my family as we all get into the car.
This is our last interview before Christmas which is 5 days away. We have a concert in 3 days, which is our last one for the year.
Then we'll have our second album complete for when we go touring again, next year.
We arrive at our destination soon enough. Wow that sounded lame.
"Okay so Ross if they ask anything about Callie and her family just say they are a friend of the family and leave it at that." My mom lectures. "Got it?"
I nod my head ready to get this interview over with so I can break up with Peyton. I'm hoping not to just jump right into a relationship after I break up with her. That would not look good.
"Hello. My name is Katherine Davison and I am here with the one and only R5!" Katherine announces as the five of us all cheer at the mention of our name. "I am here with Ross, Rocky, Riker, Ratliff, and Rydel to ask a couple of questions."
We all nod and mutter in agreement.
"Okay so pretty much all of your fans want to know is, is there a new song expected to release?" I look over at Riker, practically telling him to explain this one.
"Well not right at the moment. We aren't writing a song but that doesn't mean one might not come up." Riker begins as Katherine nods.
"Yeah we always get inspiration throughout our day and you never know, we might have a song up if one of us uh catches some inspiration." Riker finishes as we all speak in agreement. The interviewer nods moving onto the next question.
"Okay well let's talk about the new EP you guys released back in August. What do you guys have to say about that?"
"Well I think that those four songs are more mature then our other ones. And that there sound is a lot different." I begin.
"But it's a good type of different." Rydel interrupts. "Those songs are just different you know? But the fans seemed to have enjoyed them and they are very fun to play on stage."
"Okay do we have a favorite?"
"My favorite is Heart Made Up On You." Ratliff answers. "And I don't really know why but uh..I like it." Laughs are heard throughout the room at Ell's remark.
"My favorite would have to be Things Are Looking Up because it just has a good beat to it. And I get to sing the uh chorus so that's always fun." Rocky tells earning more laughs. "Yeah it's not Ross this time. It's Rocky. Rocky's chorus."
Riker finishes laughing before speaking. "My favorite would have to be Easy Love."
"Same." Rydel agrees. "I mean it's one of the more upbeat songs on the EP and it's super fun to play."
"Yeah like Rydel said, and it's also...I can connect to the song in ways. The lyrics are lyrically active." Riker explains.
"So you can relate to the song?" Katherine clarifies.
"Exactly." Riker exclaims smiling.
"Mine would be Stay With Me. Again like Riker I can just relate to the song." The lady nods before moving onto the next question.
The interview ends about 10 minutes after that and there were no questions about Callie or Peyton. But of course there were some questions about Teen Beach 2 and Austin & Ally season 4 but that's about it.
I have my parents drop me off at Peyton's.
I need to end this. I can't lead her on, that's not fair to her.
I don't think I can forget the happiness that appeared on Rocky and Rydel's faces as I told my family that I was planning to break up with Peyton. They even made Dad step on it so I could get there quickly.
I knock on her door before taking a couple steps back. A couple seconds later the door opens revealing Peyton.
"Hey baby. What're you doing here?" She asks after greeting me with a kiss.
"Can we talk?" She nods warily before stepping out and joining me on the porch.
"What about?"
I take a deep breath. Here it goes. "I think we should break up." I let out in one breath, scared to look up at her face.
"You're joking right. Please tell me you aren't serious?" I shake my head.
"I am serious. I just don't think we can continue any longer." I begin to walk away. "I'm sorry."
"Is this about that girl? Carrie?" I groan.
"Callie?" Peyton nods following me.
"Yes her! You're breaking up with me because of her! Ross she's just manipulating you! You got to snap out of it." I shake my head.
"Peyton you're not listening, okay. No this isn't about Callie and she did not talk me into this. You are an amazing girl, but we're just not right to be together." I turn around again. "I'm sorry."
"You're going to regret this Ross Shor!" She yells after me. "You're going to realize what big mistake you made!"
They broke up!!!
Who's all really excited for that? *Raises their hand*
What do you think Peyton's going to do? I mean she practically just threatened Ross!
