Elsa was going about her life in her ice castle for quite a few years. She began to notice that as time went on, her aging did not. She still didn't know much about the eternity ring, and wondered if it had something to do with it. There were to many questions, and she was lacking all the information that she needed. Elsa knew that since Pitch gave her the ring, he would most likely have all the answers. Despite not wanting to see him, she decided to seek him out to get answers. She went to the mountaintop where she last saw him, and blasted some dark sand around to summon him. Pitch emerged from the shadows.

"I've brought you back here for one reason and one reason only. I think I've stopped aging and I'm not exactly sure how or why. Would you happen to know anything about this?" "You are an Alpha Frostbloodian, meaning you are immortal." Pitch explained. "What do you mean 'Alpha Frostbloodian' what does that even mean?" Elsa looked at him confused. "The island of Ahtohallan is home of a species knows as Frostbloodians. They appear to be human, but have magical winter abilities, just like you. You can do your own research about it, but being an alpha makes you more powerful than a normal Frostbloodian. It also makes you immortal." Elsa stared at him. "I was saving this until you were old enough to understand, but I think the time has finally come." Pitch took out a book and handed it to her. "What's in here?" she looked at the detailing of the cover. "It is a book all about Frostbloodians. It should be able to answer any other questions you may have about them."

Back at her ice castle, Elsa begins to read the book. It had drawings of the island of Ahtohallan, drawings of Frostbloodians, a section all about training with winter magic, and it even had a map of Ahtohallan and how to get to the island. She saw people like her and read what they could do with their magic. They weren't shamed for their powers, but rather trained in how to use them properly, and even celebrated for having magic. Knowing now that she had immortality and quite literally all the time in the world, Elsa spend a few centuries learning the ways of the Frostbloodians. She used the book and trained with her magic, perfecting the different abilities she had, and learned some new things along the way. She began to see her powers as more of a blessing rather than a curse.
