You Chose The Wrong Brother

"Camila!" Sara's voice echoed down the corridor of the high school causing Camila to turn and observe her best friend properly for the first time in what felt like a long time. She looked tired, her black hair looked unbrushed and her outfit was gray track pants paired with a gray t-shirt, not her usual style, she obviously had something going on her mind so Camila decided to go easy on her. She knew better than most what Jacob was like so she couldn't really blame her friend for being taken in by him what she could blame her for though, was her eagerness to share the intimate details of her relationship with Shawn and she was going to make sure Sara knew that in their friendship that was unacceptable.

"Sara" she smiled a little and saw the uncertainty on her friends face "Long time no see, where have you been?

" I thought you would be mad at me"

"I was and I had good reason to be, does that mean you just avoid me? Is that what our friendship is?" Sara's gaze dropped to the ground, shame burning bright on her cheeks

"I'm so sorry Mila"

"It's OK"

"Is it?!" Saras eyes roamed Camila's face, searching for a sign she was lying but she saw only honesty and that made her heart hurt even more. She shouldnt have spoken to Jacob she knew that but she should have trusted her friend to know her well enough to realise she would never do anything to hurt her on purpose

"Of course, just please, don't ever talk about my sex life to anyone, especially not my boyfriends enemy"

"Boyfriend?!" Sara's eyes were wide as the girls walked down the corridor towards their lockers "As in officially? As in he finally asked you?"

"Well he sang the question to me instead of asking me but the result was the same, I'm officially a taken women"

"Oh my God that's so romantic!"

"He's literally not even human Sara. He's so perfect in every way its not even fair. Every other guy might as well just give up now"

The two girls linked arms and giggled

"You are so obsessed with him"

"God Sara, if only you knew the things that man can do... In and out of the bedroom" Again they giggled loudly "I missed this" Camila admitted quietly

"I missed you"

"Let's never fall out again okay, especially not over Jacob Mendes"

"Did someone say my name?" An arm wrapped around Camila's left shoulder and Sara's right as Jacob's face appeared right inbetween them.

"Get your grubby hands off me!" demanded Camila as both girls pushed him away at the same time

"Ladies, ladies calm down" he laughed loudly whilst looking around to make sure none of his friends had witnessed her rejection of him.

"What do you want?!" Camila's face was tense, her posture warning him she wasn't in the mood to take any of his bullshit today. Her mood after her date with Shawn was too good to be brought down by his douchebag brother

"I was just wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me?"

"What? Jacob apart from the fact that I would rather eat my own vomit that go anywhere with you I have a boyfriend, you know this, he's your brother" she couldn't help but smirk at the look that crossed Jacob's face but then it was replaced by a smirk of his own and she couldn't help but worry about what was coming next

"Oh, he finally got around to making it official did he?" Camila just nodded "I didn't realise it was and 'exclusive' sort of thing"

"That's because it's none of your business"

"No that's because Shawn's ex-girlfriend is in town and with them spending time together I thought maybe that meant you were free to spend time with another guy"

Camila tried her hardest to bite back everything that was swirling through her right now, determined not to show even a flash of emotion to Jacob but the Naomi subject was still raw and she felt herself struggling to keep her calm

"In fact it seems a bit of a coincidence that he's now made you and him 'official' just as she arrives in town, what do you think Sara, odd timing or what?"

"For your information they are not spending time together"

"That's not what she told me" Camilas heart stopped dead in her chest, Naomi and Jacob had been talking. About what? Her blood ran cold at the thought of what a conversation between the two of them would entail

"You've spoken to her?"

"Nice girl, my mom loves her. She's so sophisticated, she's got a sports car you know and a beautiful apartment in the city, she's a real catch especially for a misfit like Shawn"

"Shawn's not interested, he's told her that" Camilas voice came out more emotionally charged than she had intended and she saw a glint in Jacob's eyes, like he knew he had effected her

"Camila..." Sara's hand came to rest on the arm of her friend "Ignore him, he's just trying to get to you"

"You chose the wrong brother Camila, you chose the one that can't keep it in his pants just at the time his super hot ex turns up to reclaim him" bending until his lips were close to Camila's ear he chuckled loudly and then wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into his body "Who do you think he's going to choose? A high school girl with nothing but her body to offer him or a super hot career woman with a car, apartment, amazing body and boobs too" he dropped his eyes to her chest and then pushed her gently from him "Good luck Cabello, you are going to need it"
