History of Archne:
The kingdom of Archne was founded by the royal family; Queen Talia and King Nichils. They were the Archne family with the motto of "a broken promise will lead to death". They especially took this seriously when it came to marriages. One night Talia found her husband in bed with a wh**e, her assuming that this woman was from the outside. Devastated, the queen ran to the woods before praying to her gods, asking for them to grant her the power to avenge her broken promise.
In return, she was turned into a spider and she killed her former husband and the woman he was in bed with. She resided in the woods near the kingdom while her brother took the throne, cutting the kingdom off from any outsiders.
When King Thelios took the throne (father of the young princesses), his wife was an outsider, promising to become a citizen of Archne. She promised to love her husband during their wedding and she promised to remain faithful to their ideals. Those promises were broken when she was caught with another man. The two were brought to the woods, home of Talia, where she killed them. The young princesses were only children when it happened
