Personality:
Astrid is a mixture of cold-hearted and friendly. She can be seen with a smile on her face and being friendly, but it could typically be her faking that she's a decent person. She's rude even to those that she considers to be close friends. Astrid won't admit it, but she will protect her friends at all costs. Many will find Astrid as a calm person, and the secret to that is that she's constantly seen her camera around her neck. She considers her camera her one source of tranquility and some type of normalcy.

Background:
Astrid's mother was killed during a nature photography session. People claimed that it was due to a coyote or wolf attack. However, Astrid's father didn't believe that. Trying to find the source of what killed his wife, the man fell down the hole of the supernatural world, bringing his daughter with him. For the longest time, he would force Astrid to kill supernatural creatures before the girl finally broke away, joining Scott's pack. It was after joining his pack did Astrid learn about her true identity.
At some point, her father gets admitted into Eichen House, and Astrid goes into the custody of her aunt. Her aunt is a dragon rider, like Astrid. She teaches everything Astrid needed to know about controlling the dragon and handling having a beast inside of her.

- Astrid is repellent to extreme heat - Many question if she can withstand fire - Isaac was her first friend in Beacon Hills, and she has a protective instinct over him - When Liam joins the pack, Astrid was force to be his "babysitter", basically watching over him and being there incase he "wolfed out"
