Laurel is a shy and quiet person. She keeps to herself and will do whatever she can to ensure that she's invisible to the world. The main reason for this is because of her powers. That, and Laurel hates being the center of attention. She only has a few close friends, not including her parents. Laurel is a kind girl once you get to know her. She is someone you can trust with secrets, someone people can talk to and have assurance that she'll listen to them, and she'll protect those people. Laurel treasures the friends she is able to make, and they are the one thing she will certainly protect till the day she dies.

Background:
It remains unknown how Laurel got her abilities. Many just assume that she was born with them. At age 10, Laurel first exhibited her powers. She had brought a baby bird back to life. At that point, her parents withdrew her from public schooling, and insisted that their daughter would start homeschooling. During that time, her parents worked on trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Many religious figures were brought into their home to help understand what was going on with their only daughter. As Laurel got older, her experience with her powers grew a little bit as well. Once she was old enough, Laurel left her home to get an actual understanding of how she got her powers.
