"Hey baby, you almost ready?" I ask Madison.

"Yeah." She walks into the room.

I grab her hand and we walk out of our room in her mom's house. We walk into the kitchen and Tracie looks at us in awe.

"You two look amazing." She says.

"Thank you mom." Madison says.

"Thank you Tracie."

"You two have fun but not too much fun." She says. "Also, Emily hang back."

Madison gives me a quick peck on the cheek and leaves the kitchen.

"Are you ready?" She asks.

"I'm nervous. Really nervous."

"I promise you, she's going to say yes." Tracie reassures me.

"It's Madison, she's unpredictable." I say with a small laugh.

Tracie slightly chuckles, "I promise you, I already know the answer to the question."

Madison

I found the ring a couple days ago and ended up telling my mom. I've got to give Em a lot of credit, it's one of hell of a ring.

"You ready Mads?" Emily asks, scaring me.

"Y-Yeah." I grab her hand and we head outside, into the cold New York air.

We get in the car and she starts it up, letting the heater do its job. She starts the drive into the city. We decided on a nice rooftop bar for dinner.

She makes the drive into the city and finds a parking spot near the building. We walk up and take the elevator to get to the rooftop.

The elevator opens up and we find our way to the hostess. She leads us to our table which is by a window.

We breeze through dinner. Before we leave, she takes me outside.

"Even though I'm freezing my ass off, I wanted to take you out here to ask you a question-" I cut her off.

"Yes. A million times yes." Her eyes widen.

"I-I had this whole speech planned. Oh my God." I slightly chuckle.

"I found the box a couple days ago."

"Oh my gosh. Okay, okay." She gets down on one knee, "Even though you already gave me your answer, I still want to do the whole cheesy one knee thing," she grabs my left hand, "Madison Elle Beer, will you marry me?" A tear runs down her face.

"Baby," I wipe her tear, "Of course." She puts the ring on my finger. "Holy shit! How much was this?"

"Holy shit! How much was this?"

"You don't need to know." Emily says with a smile, "All that matters is that my girl has a rock on her finger and she's mine for life."

"I can't wait to be your wife." I connect our lips and feel the saltiness of Em's tears. I pull away and wipe her face.

"Sorry."

"No, it's okay to cry. I'm your's, okay? I'm your's for life."

5 years later...

"She's definitely Madison's daughter." I mumble to myself as our three-year-old daughter Lilah dances around the living room.

"MAMA COME DANCE WITH ME!" She grabs my hand and pulls me with her.

We dance around the living room for however long until Madison opens the front door. Lilah looks over and sprints towards her.

"MOMMY! YOU'RE HOME!" Lilah sprints towards her. Madison picks her up and places her on her hip. I go over and give her a quick peck.

"How was the studio?" I ask.

"Good. I also have some good news." She says with a big smile.

"Ooo yay."

Madison goes upstairs to shower. I quickly cook dinner, while Lilah "helps" me. Madison comes back downstairs and comes into the kitchen, wrapping her arms around me from behind.

"Smells good."

"Is it done yet mama?" Lilah asks.

"Almost little one."

I turn off the stove and plate the food. I head into the dining room and place the bowls at each seat.

"What's your news mommy?" Lilah asks as soon as we sit down. I take a big bite of my food.

"Well... you're going to get a little brother or sister soon." My jaw drops and all the food in my mouth falls out onto my plate.

"Mama!" Lilah says while giggling.

I look up and make eye contact with Madison. She nods.

"Oh my God. OH MY GOD!" I get out of my seat and go over to Mads, wrapping her in a big hug.

Before Lilah, she had previously gotten pregnant but then had a miscarriage around four months in. We were told that it would be hard for her to have another kid, but we still tried again.

"BABY, WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!" I yell as tears stream down my face.

"Yeah, we're going to have another baby." She says as she wipes my tears.
