"You know what? Fuck you! You're messy! YOU'RE FUCKING CRAZY! You unload all of your fucking baggage on me and expect me to take it with fucking grace, well guess what? I HAVE MY OWN FUCKING SHIT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH!" I yell at Madison as tears spill out of both of our eyes.

"I WISH I NEVER MET YOU!" She yells back. "I wish I never fucking met you." She says a little quieter.

"I'm leaving. I'm done with your shit." I head upstairs and quickly pack a bag of some clothes. I call and Uber and head back downstairs. I catch Madison's eye and see the broken look. I look away and shake my head.

I wait out front and text Addison.

Emily: hey, some shit went down. could i stay at your place for a bit?

Bad Bleep: of course.

The Uber pulls up and I get in the back. I give the guy her address and he starts the drive. I turn off my phone completely, slipping it into my bag. I put my head against the window and watch the LA lights shine in the night.

The car comes to a stop. I quickly thank the driver and get out. I buzz into the apartment building and head up to Addison's.

I knock on her door and she opens it up. She see's my tear stained face and pulls me into a hug. I start sobbing into her shoulder.

"Come on. Let's go inside." She pulls me into her apartment and closes the door.

She wraps her arms back around me and let's me continue to sob into her shoulder.

"I-I'm such a f-fucking idiot." I choke out in between my sobs.

"Shhhhh." She rubs comforting circles on my back. It's nice but it's nothing like Madison.

After a few minutes of crying it out, I start to calm down a bit.

"Come on, let's get you cleaned up." Addison takes my hand and brings me to her bathroom. She grabs her makeup wipes.

I just let her do her thing.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asks as she wipes away my mascara.

"We fought. And I said some horrible things. I called her crazy. Which is like the one thing you should never say, but I said it. Then she told me she wished she never met me."

"You fucked up." Addison says.

"Thanks. Tell me something I didn't know." I snap at her.

"Okay, listen. You need to apologize. No fucking excuses, just flat out 'I'm sorry. What I said was horrible and you didn't deserve that. I'm not going to make any excuses because I know I should have never even gone there'. Then let her talk to you about her struggles and how the things people say affect her. Let this be a learning experience." She tells me.

"She's never going to want to talk to me again. She said she wished she never met me!"

"Look, I don't know Madison that well but the way she looks at you and talks about you, it's special. I've only seen that a couple times in my life."
