Hawks pov:

i flew into the Murder that i was called into and lets just say It wasn't pretty there was barley anything left of the guy we found bits and pieces of him that we could use for a DNA test to identify him. "hm killed in his own home? maybe a home invasion?" a officer said to me i checked all the doors and windows "nope nothing seems to have been forced so killed by someone he knew. go run the test get back to me asap k thanks" i kept looking around then i went into the master bedroom and saw a crib and a half empty bottle i kept looking around then i saw a picture framed on a nightstand it was a picture of a guy, a baby and CAMILA?!! why would she be in this picture then i started to think i realized this was her place so the guy that was murdered had to be HER HUSBAND?! so wait where's her and the baby? this isn't good

no ones pov:

"this will only hurt a bit" overhaul said grabbing a needle full of serum "HOLD HIM STILL" he said "I AM ASSHOLE" Camila said overhaul rolled his eyes "whatever " he put the serum in "wait 5 minutes"

5 minutes later~ "mom? mom! what's happening" the boy stood there covered in electricity Camila looked over and then turned around again "FUCKKKK ANOTHER FAILED ATTEMPT" overhaul tried his best not to laugh "so um plan b?" she gave him a dirty look "yes plan b you moron" overhaul thought to himself then said "or should i just shoot him with the quirk erasing bullet?" Camila looked over at him and said "no i think it's time that brat daughter of mine learns that she'll never be a hero" overhaul didn't understand her obsession with this girl but he just went with it "alright eri already has them leading onto us"

meanwhile....

hawks spoke in front of his new interns "ok my two little interns we gotta new mission apparently the villain overhaul is holding children and we gotta help the heroes because the murder i investigated has something to do with this" Bakugo and y/n nodded and got ready to go before they left Bakugo pulled y/n aside and said "hey don't do anything stupid out there" she looked at him and giggled " i could say the same for you Boom Boom boy" he rolled his eyes and they left

~the whole fight for eri stuff is happening~

hawks, Bakugo and y/n arrived and hawks pulls them back "this is worse then i thought it would be Ground Zero go get Backup, Rouge lets go in" Bakugo and y/n nodded and split up hawks flew right in to go help nighteye and them. y/n stayed back a bit to look for more kids as she looked around she said "it's a war zone in here" then she heard a familiar voice "well hello daughter" y/n turned around and saw Camila and a boy covered in blue electricity "SISSY HELP ME" y/n thought for a second putting two and two together realizing her mom and her have blue lightning meaning that the boy was Kai y/n remembered studying an illegal study on a serum that could age people "Let him go mother" camila laughed "admit it then admit your a failure" y/n started to thinking of her choices then she saw Camila holding something behind her back y/n didn't wanna take any chances of her being the reason an innocent kid died "fine" camila looked surprised "YESSS FINALLY" y/n looked over at Kai then back at Camila "i was supposed to be born quirkless i am a failure because i was born with a combination of two quirks i'm sorry that i let you down" Camila pushed Kai in front of y/n pulling out the gun making it look like she was going to shoot Kai y/n started to panic "SHIT KAI MOVE" without thinking she jumped in front of the bullet using her wings to protect Kai. just as the bullet hit her wing the wall Camila was near exploded from the one and only Ground Zero's quirk Camila wanted to make sure y/n was finished for good so before the boys could get to her she shot the last 5 bullets at y/n. no matter how bad it hurt y/n never stopped her grip on Kai doing everything she could to keep him safe. Bakugo saw y/n on the ground all shot up her wings disappearing and grabbed Camila "WHAT DID YOU DO!!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!!!!" Camila laughed "like i said she'll NEVER be a hero" the boys grabbed Bakugo's shoulder telling him to let them detain her they cuffed Camila and hawks came in and saw y/n on the ground wings almost gone, all shot up, holding a 7 year old boy like her life depended on it. Bakugo and hawks ran up to her she was awake but she kept saying she was ok she got up still holding the 7 year old hawks looked confused till y/n said "It's kai" he then realized it was Camila's new son. as they walked out of the rubble y/n started to get woozy from blood lose and from losing her quirks she nearly fell with kai in arms but hawks caught kai and Bakugo caught y/n caring her out of the building to where the ambulance were he got there and he saw most of his class some third years and a bunch of pro's then he saw Camila and Gave her an angry look she turned to see him holding y/n and she said "to bad you couldn't save her in time HERO there's no getting her quirks back i finally have my perfect quirkless kid" Bakugo looked her dead in the eye "FUCK. YOU." everyone looked at him in shock then realized why he was upset when they saw him hold y/n in his arms. a stretcher came and he put her on it the paramedic put Kai on her side due to the orders hawks gave them to not seperate them, bakugo went to go walk away when Deku grabbed his arm "Kacchan you need to get checked out you could be injured" Bakugo didn't even look at him he just said "im fine nerd" Kiri grabbed bakugo "y/n would want you to at least get checked" Bakugo snapped "Y/N WOULD HAVE ALSO LIKED TO HAVE A NON SHITTY MOM Y/N WOULD WANT TO HAVE HER QUIRKS Y/N WANTED TO BE A HERO BUT NONE OF THAT IS HAPPENING IS THAT SHITTY HAIR" and with that he left everyone just stood there shocked hawks stood there knowing bakugo was right y/n didn't ask for any of this. as bakugo walked down the street he saw the street he used to walk home from school before the dorms were a thing he looked at the street and remembered about a month ago when y/n begged to meet his parents so he took her and they walked down that street and she had took a sharpy and wrote on a building 'Katsu+n/n= 4ever' he looked at it as he walked down he always thought it was stupid but right now it was the best thing ever he didn't realize it but his legs had taken him to his front door he didn't know what to do so he knocked his mom answered and for the first time in a long time he hugged her she was surprised "are you ok katsuki? what brings you home?" he started crying "i wasn't fast enough mom. y/n lost her quirks saving her little brother from her mom all because i wasn't fast enough" she stood there in shock her son hadn't cried to her in what felt like forever she hugged him tighter as he talked "it's ok sweetie she's just as strong without her quirk and you made just in time it could've been much worse if you weren't there" he got off of her and walked with her to the kitchen to get water he sat on the stool in the kitchen and said "do you remember when i first got my quirk and everyone praised me and i thought i was the greatest ever?" she nodded handing him the glass he took a sip and let a tear fall "mom i-im weak" she walked over and hugged him "katsuki its ok to be weak and i know y/n would agree now you wanna go check on her i'll go with you" he wiped his face and nodded. they drove to the hospital and got to her room it was dark Kai was in the bed sleeping and y/n could barely be seen but she was sitting by the window with headphones on silently crying the sight of her like this made katsuki worry he thought to himself 'is she really ok?' then he felt a two hand on his shoulder he looked to see who it was it was shinso and hawks. shinso spoke first he shook his head and said "i already tried she's not speaking she's been like this since she got here" hawks wiped his eyes and said "the bullets didn't leave not even a spark of her quirk left the doctors said there's no chance of her being a hero which means she'll be dropped out of UA or put in general studies i'm sorry Bakugo i shouldn't have split is up" Bakugo didn't say anything to them he just walked into the room and went straight to the window y/n looked up at him with puffy eyes and tears in her eyes falling out he opened his arms and nodded he got up and hugged him and they cried together he sat on the window and pulled her onto his lap rubbing circles on her back holding onto her like his life depended on it. everyone in the hallway just started shinso thought to himself 'ya know y/n you'll always be my hero even tho you'll never believe me' hawks looked at them with tears in his eyes his mind stuck on the same thought 'i'm sorry kiddo i should've been there but once again i couldn't save you', mitsuki stood there proud as ever she turned to the boys "she might not be a pro but she's a real hero she sacrificed everything to save that boy" they all nodded kiri walked by as she said that he looked in the room and saw y/n and Bakugo crying holding each other and the only thing he could doo was smile 'ya know y/n your a special one for sure you changed bakubro for the better your a true hero i know you'll be a hero one day' the next one to walk by was deku he saw them and simply thought 'kacchan you've grown to the person i always saw you as and y/n i hope you don't lose faith anyone can be hero'

Bakugo now held a sleeping y/n he looked down and kissed her forehead and thought 'i love you y/n with or without a quirk i remember you telling me why you wanted to be a hero and i really wish you didn't get you chance ripped away from you' he was pulled out of his thoughts by the feeling on small hands tapping his should he pulled out the earbud that y/n had put in his ear and looked at Kai "i just wanted to say i'm sorry it should've been me" Bakugo was never good with kids but he didn't want to put more on y/n's plate so he simply said "hey come here" he carefully hugged Kai and said "your sister doesn't regret saving you she never would" Kai wiped the tears on his face and said "b-but s-sissy wanted to be a hero and now she can't" Bakugo wiped his own tears and said "you sissy is a hero weather she thinks so or not now come here" Bakugo picked up kai and cuddled him next to y/n holding you both thinking to himself 'ya known i wouldn't mind this with you y/n'
