Jace took Blake down and started landing punches on him. He beating the hell out of Blake turned me on somehow but I couldn't just stand there and watch him beat Blake to death.

" Jace! stop!" I said, looking down at them. I had honestly run out of words.
A lot of the teens there had gathered around, cheering them on.

It was pathetic to look at.
I mean, how does watching someone being beaten up feel good in the sight of teens? I had to answer to that but that was not the problem at hand.

One teenage boy with sandy blonde hair tried pulling Jace off Blake but got hit instead. So he backed off.

I stood there, lost in thought, confused at the sight displayed in front of me.
Jace's knuckles were covered in blood but he couldn't care less.

He kept on punching Blake anywhere open to him.
I was sure that by now, Blake had a broken rib or broken ribs, a broken nose from the way his nose now looked crooked and blackheads all over his swollen eyes and face.

I touched Jace on the shoulder and he was about landing a punch when he turned and saw that it was I who touched him and pulled back.

" Jace, it's enough now. I am very sure this asshole has got what he deserves!" I said, begging Jace with my eyes.

Jace got off him and yelled, " Stay away from her unless you want a free ticket to hell, and I am ever ready to give you that!"

I let out a sigh I didn't realise I was holding.

" Are you okay,Maddie?" Jace asked concern evident in his voice.

" Yeah. I am fine but you sure are not okay." I said and stared at his bloody knuckles.

" This is the least of the fights I've been involved in. Chill, you look like you're about to faint." He chuckled.

" Let me take a look at your hands." I take his hands in mine . He was right. This was nothing. It looked like his knuckles had been burst open a countless number of times, would not completely heal and be opened up again.

" Let's get your knuckles cleaned up."

He followed me to one of the bathrooms. I took a paper towel, dipped it in the cold running water from the tap and started cleaning his opened wounds.

I looked at his face for any sign of pain but he didn't even flinch. He looking at me with an emotion I recognized as care but it left as quickly as it came. This guys really knows how to hide emotions.

" So how many fights have you gotten into?" I asked, trying to start up a conversation.

He said nothing so I took it his silence as a sign that there was no answer coming, but he surprised me by answering.

" Uncountable. I am a boxer." He replied quietly.

Jace could be many things but boxing was not something I could picture him in.

" I would like to watch you fight sometime later." I burst out without thinking but the words had already left my mouth.

" Hell, no!" You're not going to watch me fight. He said shooting me a glare that I requited.

I really wanted to watch him fight again but I wasn't going to give him pride in this by telling him.

Seeing Jace fight Blake sent sparks through my body, sparks new to me but intense.

" Am I that good- looking?" He asked waking me out of my perverted thoughts.

" Were getting out of here now." He grabbed my hand and pulled me with him out of the bathroom.

As we walked down the stairs, pairs of hungry looking eyes looked my direction. Jace shot them a frightful glare. They muttered a few words under their breaths and stopped staring immediately after.

" Here, put this helmet on." He handed me a helmet and put on the one he had in his hands.

He was done putting his on but I was still figuring out how to fasten this damn helmet on my head.

" You can't even put a helmet on yet you have such a naughty mouth."
He took the helmet from me and helped me with it. I could see him trying to hold back his amusement. I just ignored him.

Oh! And I think today is the first day I've actually had a proper talk without shitty rude remarks from Jace.

I am beginning to think that Jace and I could actually get along quite well.

He isn't so bad.....is he?
