Sophie's POV

Sophie just couldn't get up. She was so weak and tired.
"Hey Sis? You doing okay?" Her older brother Sandor questioned.
She shook her head numbly. He walked over and sat on the edge of her bed and stroked her back with his muscled arm.
"Where's Mom and Dad?" She whispered. She had a blaring headache and her head was just pounding.
"Them and Jolie left for work." Her adoptive parents owned an animal rescue centre called Havenfield and her sister, Jolie, was a vet. She brought her left wrist up to her face and looked at the name written in red ink. Sencen. They say once you meet your soulmate your life changes and your drawn to them.
"Dad is so gonna kill you, you know that?"
She smiled despite feeling horrible and unwell.
"What about you?" She quietly rasped,
"I'll probably kill Mr. Sencen." He chuckled. She nodded weakly before drifting back to sleep.

Keefe Sencen

Keefe scanned the courtyard looking for Foster. His heart melted when he didn't see her. Did she not like him? Or was she sick? He looked for the strawberry blond boy named Dex. He should know where she is right?
"Hey Dex" he called. Dex turned his small head and walked over.
"What?"
"Do you, maybe know where Foster is?"
"Sophie? Yeah she's at home." He said it with a sad tone in his voice. Keefe nodded an idea already forming in his head.
"Oh no who gave Lord Hunkyhair an idea?" Ro said marching up with Fitz beside her.
"Hunkyhair?"
"Lord Hunkyhair. She lost a bet" he corrected.
"Alright then. But what's your idea?"
He smiled smugly and his expression said 'I refuse to tell you.'
Fitz scowled.
"Ro? Can I borrow the car keys?"
"Nuh- uh"
"Whyyyyy"
"I don't want you destroying your own car"
"I'll make another verse of Ro and Bo"
He saw the panic in her eyes before she threw the keys at him.
"Thanks Ro" he smirked as she glared and then ran off to the car.
After 15 minutes Keefe finally made it to Fosters house. He knocked on the door and waited. After a minute a really buffed out guy answered. Either the scary father, the brother or the maid.
"Uh hi. I'm here to see Sophie."
"Why?" He said with a squeaky, light voice which almost made him laugh. But instead he held up his right wrist showing the name 'Foster'  in red ink. The man face palmed himself multiple times before closing the door.

Sandor.

Sandor walked over to the closet.
"Remember Dads instructions. Don't let any boy near her. Show him the bat and we'll be fine and he'll run home." He repeated to mutter the words to himself as he grabbed the big metal bat. He went back to the door and opened it. Shoot he's still here!
"Are you scared of this?"
"Not really I guess" the blond said.
"Well there's a lot more where this beauty came from" His horrid squeaky voice said.
"I can handle it. But may I see Foster?" He sighed. Dad is so going to kill me. Of course on all the days he could of gone to get another animal it had to be the day Sophie's soulmate shows up. He thought, extremely annoyed with his dad.
"Fine. Come with me" Sandor showed the boy to Sophie's room and let him be.

Keefe Sencen

"Foster?" He said quietly as he walked in. He saw a pale, sickly looking girl sitting criss-crossed on her bed petting a growling German Shepard. She smiled weakly at him.
"Are you okay?" He worried for her. He had seen her in the halls before and liked her but never talked to her.
"No.." she whispered which brought him back out of his thoughts. He saw tears on her beautiful face and he walked over to her and sat beside her and the dog.
"Well then let me help." She looked at him sadly. He did not in any way like that look. That was the look that said 'your going to hate this then your going to hate me more'
"I won't hate you. I promise" it was true . He could possibly never hate the girl in front of him.
"I have a rare, like super rare type of cancer. There's a cure but it's super expensive and takes a really long time for it to work."
His heart broke for her. Why? She didn't deserve this. No one did. Not even his asshole of a dad. He wrapped his arms around her and held her protectively knowing she didn't need him to talk to her, just to listen.
"I'll do anything you need. I promise you"
"Y-you can't."
"Why not?"
"You'll hurt yourself. When I die you'll be alone. You'll be broken"
He shook his head and whispered into her ear, "that will never happen. You'll get through this."
She looked at him with her tired, beautiful eyes. She nodded. She leaned into his chest. Tears streaming down her face. He cradled her and kissed soft forehead. He decided right then and there that she would never leave his sight and he would never leave her. He loved her and he knew that deep down she loved him to.
