Me: What's wrong? * worried *

Jack: I need to tell you something important. * serious tone *

Me: Okay. * lets out a shaky breath *

Jack: Beth I'm so sorry! * starts to cry * 

Me: It's okay I'm safe and we're here together. 

Jack: I saved you from being Jake's mate but it came at a cost. 

Me: What happened, what's wrong!

Jack: When Jake bit you I had to suck his venom out or scent before you became his but when I sucked into your neck my teeth had to come out to get into the wound causing you to be a ........ * crying * ......... a vampire!

Me: But I'm not I don't have the teeth or red eyes do I?

Jack hands me a mirror for me to see myself with red eyes and when I open my mouth I have little fangs. But if I need them to come out they will extent to their full length.

Me: ..................... * starts crying *

Jack: I'm so sorry I  know you didn't want to be on of us. I tried to protect you from me but failed. 

I have mixed feelings. I understand why but I'm sad, angry at Jake, and shocked. Then Logan comes into the room with a face of regret and sympathy. I know he feels bad for what his brother did but what could he do. I can't stay mad forever but I'm not mad at Jack, or Logan, or any of the others. They tried to save and protect me and I can't blame for this. Jack knew my feelings but also knew the risk of saving me from Jake. I'm going to try to be positive about this. At least me and Jack are the same being so I can protect him like he does me. 

Me: It's okay I understand. Thank you for saving me from Jake and I'm not mad. * hugs Jack *

Logan smiles a weak smile then leaves us alone. I smile at Jack and just cuddle with him. 

Me: Well now you can say I'm safe and plus we're the same now. We can go on a date and do the same things because we both are the same beings. 

Jack smiled at my happiness but knew I was a little sad. I then kissed him. His soft lips we're perfect. We cuddled and talked about what it's like to be a vampire. I then got like really hungry. But not for human food which I can eat like the others. I got this thirst and I never felt it before. It was like a need. 

Me: Jack, I'm hungry. 

Jack: So you want some food?

Me: I have this thirst for blood I think. 

Jack stared at me moment then his eyes turned red. 

Me: Hey, your eyes are red. 

Jack: I know and so are yours. There's blood in the fridge. 

Before he finished I was down to the kitchen wicked fast. I opened the fridge and smelt blood from the pitcher I earlier thought was punch. I was wrong. I got a cup and poured myself some then put the blood back and sped back up to jack. He smiled and I was still shocked at how fast that took me and how I can use my speed skills this fast. 

Me: How did I just do that?

Jack smile a moment then answered. 

Jack: You were hungry for blood and when your really thirsty for it you can do all sorts of things. 

I took a couple sips of the blood while he spoke. But this blood didn't taste right. As if reading ,y mind or maybe I did an obvious expression Jack answered. 

Jack: That's animal blood we don't drink human blood. We don't want to hurt our fans or any human. But we are going to have to teach you how to control your thirst. 

Me being human earlier in my life smiled at his caring remarks. I went over to him and sat on his lap just to see what he would do. He put his head in the crook of my should and smiled. Then pulled me closer to his chest. I didn't complain. 

Me: Hey Jack, I know you can read minds but is this like a thing everyone can do or is it only something certain vampires have?

Jack: We each have our own powers that nobody else in the band has but also have common powers too. You know I can read minds, but speed is something everyone has. The difference is some vampires have super speed where they are faster than the vampires who just have regular speed. Jonah has super strength, super speed, and scent racking. Zach has manipulated powers where he can have anyone do anything, say anything, and can feel what others feel. Corbyn can shield anyone, reading minds like me, and shape shifting. Daniel can speak different languages, mind control, and talk to anyone through their mind too. Finally I can read minds, climb things, and I'm the leader of our family. 

Me: .......... * stunned * WOW!!!

Jack smiled then chuckled at my answer. 

Me: What do you think I have? 

Jack: We will find out soon but you should get some rest because this change is new to you. 

I nod. So I come back to the bed and sit on top of Jack's chest as we both lay down. I suddenly felt tired and fell asleep in Jack's arms.
