Why

Recap:I soak in the sun, sounds, feels, and think of my powers. I wonder if I have anymore. Then I see the boys car pull up. I also see a guy come with them. I go down to greet them all and learn his name is Eben. Eben hugs me as if I was an old friend and we all sit down. The boys suddenly get quiet and they all look worried and serious. There was tension in the room and I could sense it. Everyone had their eyes on me as I went into a deep thought, then thought maybe I could mind control someone.  I smiled then Zach suddenly started saying what he was worried about and the truth. 

Zach: Wow this is awkward! We are worried because we think you saw the ruler over all the vampires in the forest with his family. We think they're after us to get to you but are not sure. We are surprised at how you already have your powers and maybe even more. I know I'm worried about you and so are the others which is why Eben is here. 

Zach put his hand to his mouth right at the last word. 

* thoughts *

What! That creepy guy is the ruler. Yikes! Maybe he just wants to meet or kill me.

Me: So why is he after me? 

Jack: Um we think he wants to kill you. * sad and worried *

Me: Why I thought you guys change people all the time. 

Jonah: Well we have to have permission to do so by Aro which is the ruler. 

Me: So he wants me to die because he didn't give you guys permission? Why don't you just tell him what happened, he will understand right? * worried *

Daniel: Um, well we could try but we think he's after you because of your powers. You have mind control and it seems that you had it before you were turned because even though Jack could read your thoughts, Aro couldn't. 

Me: I just found out that I had mind control how could Aro not read my mind. 

Jack: When I read your mind I think it was only because of the bond. The boys can't read your mind. So Aro thinks your threatening his authority so he wants to kill you or at least see you. 

Me: * starts having panic attack *

Jack: Hey, hey, it's going to be okay. 

Jack comes over to me and holds me until I calm down. Then we both sit down on the couch as the boys watch. 

Me: Sorry, I'm just stressed. So what's the plan. 

Corbyn: We plan to go to a safe home that we made years ago. It has everything this lodge does. 

Me: But what about you guys? Won't this look like you guys being rebellious? I don't want you guys hurt or anything. 

Daniel: Oh, we won't. Just get ready to go. 

I nodded. 

Me: Hey will you guys train me on how to fight or no? * shyly *

Daniel: Well that depends on Jack. He's your mate.

I look up at a smiling Jack with his face glowing. 

Me: Please! * puppy dog face * 

Jack: I don't know, maybe I don't want you hurt. 

Me: Or maybe you don't want me getting to good to beat you. * playfully *

Jack: Oh, yeah? * playful and smirking *

Me: Yeah. * eyes glittering with excitement *

Jack got up fast and picked me up with my gut on his shoulder. Then he spun me around to have myself being held by my feet on the wall. 

Jack: Daniel, can you hold Beth while I tickle her. 

Me: I wouldn't Seavey. 

The boys already had grins on their faces. Daniel got up with a playful grin. 

Daniel: * comes closer * Or what?

Me: You don't want to find out. 

Daniel: Oh, really? * smirking as coming closer *

Jack: R U coming?

Daniel: Yep. 

Daniel came over for them to switch but when he got close enough to hold my feet I ripped his jeans off. Daniel let go of me as I was laughing on the floor. Daniel was blushing like crazy as the boys all fell to the ground laughing like me. I took this chance to make a run for it to Jack's room. I mean our room. I sped through the stairs to our room and locked the door. I went to the window to make sure it was locked. It was. I knew I won. I heard a bang on the door expecting Jack but it was Daniel. 

Daniel: You better give me my jeans back! Now let me in!

At this moment I realized I still had his ripped jeans. * literally ripped in half * 

Me: Poor Seavey, mad because I thought to lock the doors before you came in. 

Daniel: * smirking * Right I bet you liked taking my pants off too. 

* thoughts *

This made me angry. I did this to make him embarrassed not to make him think I like him. 

Me: In your dreams Seavey.  * eye roll *

Daniel: Come on, we both know you like me. 

I put his pants under the door for him then laid on the bed. Right, in his dreams. I went to the closet to get a hoodie when someone pulled me in. I freaked at first then calmed down when I saw a smirking Jack. 

Me: How? * amazed *

Jack: I saw your plan before you had made it. Plus it's more fun to make you think you won then beat you.

Me: Of course it is. * smiling *

Jack: But you did good. Daniel's face was priceless. 

I went over closer to jack and kissed him.

Me: Thanks babe. 

We started kissing but Jack got to my neck because I'm not ready yet. He understood. We went out of the closet, unlocked the door, and cuddled. We watched a few movies, then someone came in and jumped on us. Who else but Seavey. 

Daniel: You too lovebirds look so cute. * toothy gap smile *

Me: We were cuter when you didn't interrupt. 

Daniel: Don't worry Beth, I'll leave. * fake crying * But first we are all leaving tomorrow at noon to go to the safe house. 

He left after that. Me and Jack got up to start packing even though we didn't want to. We finished like 4 hours later. So it was like three in the afternoon. We went downstairs for some food when no one was there. I felt a hint of worry go through my veins. Wonder where they are and if they're okay. Jack heard my thoughts because he looked at me and answered. 

Jack: There fine I'm sure. They just probably went for take out. 

I nodded. Yeah, Jack is right. I hope. We went to the kitchen and made some Ramen. All I could thin was I'm eating Jack's hair. 

Jack: * grinning and laughing * Right. But this is actually editable unlike my hair. 

Me: * smile * Would you get out of my head. 

Jack: Why? * playful *

Me: Fine * starts using mind control *

I tell Jack to get out of my mind then to get me a blanket just because I want one. Jack comes back with a blanket and smile.

Me: Thank you. * playful *

Jack: That's unfair, I wasn't making you do anything. * playful and smirking *

Me: No because you can't. But I can. * grins * 

I go to the couch and start to cuddle in when Jack sped and picked me up to have me sit on his lap. I smiled and snuggled in when the front door opened up. The boys looked up from there phones to see us. They were all carrying food and smirked when they saw us cuddled together. Daniel came in last and stopped when he saw us. He put his phone on camera and took pictures of us as I put my face in Jack's face to keep from showing my blush.
