Chapter 2

It's been three weeks and things are back to normal like I had never left. We hang out almost everyday and when I'm not with them I'm with Sarah, Rafe, Topper and Kelce. I got a job against my parents will and I'm working at the Wreck with Kiara. Her parents blessed me and let me work there. Things with JJ and I are good but my feeling for him are back and even worse now. He doesn't seem like he likes me though. He flirts with me like he used too but now he hooks up with any and every girl. It hurts every time but I just try to ignore it.

I had just finished my shift at the Wreck and I headed over to Kelce's house for a party he was throwing. JJ had informed me that they were crashing and I told him that as long as I was not involved I did not care. When I got there it was just Sarah, Topper, Rafe, and Kelce. I had changed from my work uniform into a bring pink triangle low cut bikini top, matching bottoms and jean shorts. I added more mascara and then I was ready. I met them downstairs and helped them finish setting up.

The party was in full swing and I was pretty drunk. I had two years of shit I needed to forget. I was dancing when I felt hands grab my waist.

"hey hands off asshole". I said turning around to see JJ with his hands up laughing.

"sorry there ma'am I thought you were my friend." he said putting his hands up smirking at me.

"shut up." I said pushing him a little.

"you look good." He said as his eyes went up and down my body.

"stop eye raping me, it's creepy." I said making us laugh but on the instead I had so many butterflies.

"Katie!"

"Katie come here!" I heard Sarah and Rafe yell for me.

"I'll find you later." I said not really wanting to leave JJ.

"I got you." He said smiling at me as I walked away.

When I looked back he was already talking to some girl and my butterflies were instantly gone. When I made it to Sarah and Rafe I grabbed the bottle from his hands and put it to my lips drinking it.

"wow. You good Katie?" Sarah asked me.

"never better." I said forcing a smile at them.

Later: I was extremely drunk, and Sarah and I were dancing in the living room. I was dancing on Sarah while she was laughing. My laughing cut short when I saw JJ making out with a girl. I stopped dancing.

"what's wrong Katie? What are you looking at?" she asked following my eyes and looked at JJ. "you still like that pogue?" she asked me crossing my arms.

"Sarah..."

" get over him and the best way to do that is by getting under someone." She said smirking at me making me laugh.

" maybe. I'll see." I said as we started dancing again.

Topper eventually pulled Sarah to dance with him. I was dancing by myself when my eyes landed on JJ. He was sucking on the girls neck now. Something in me snapped and I turned away looking around the room when my eyes landed on Rafe who was looking at me. He made his way over to me.

"you okay?" he asked me.

" Rafe, I need you to do me a favor." I said to him.

"anything." He slurred so I knew he was just as drunk as me.

" kiss me." I said before I smashed my lips onto his.

A part of me always had a small crush on Rafe. He was the kook prince, the kook bad boy and a part of me always wanted to see what it would be like to be with him so this was it. He kissed back and his hands roamed my body as mine went to his hair.
