Day 488
Zeke

Mr. and Mrs. Belcher share a hug while I step outside, thinking of everything Taylor said.

She explained everything. How Tina suffered. How Tina died. I can't wrap my head around it.

"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph..." I mutter in shock. Not Tina. Anyone but Tina. I don't fucking care what it takes. I'm killing The Gardener right now.

Listening to Taylor's instructions, I sneak away to my car before anyone knows I've gone.

She needed me to have this fucking car last year. But I just didn't have the goddamn money.

I'll kill The Gardener. I have to get there before the police do. Or else I'll lose my chance.

Outside of town. Go straight until you are in the backwoods area. And keep driving until you're in the middle of nowhere.

At some point, I see it. I see giant walls. I'm here. And I must find The Gardener. And I have to take Tina out of here. I need to see her one last time.

I walk up to the doors, and they have obviously been locked. "Let me in! Let me the FUCK in!"

I don't care if he kills me. Because then I die with Tina. And I'd be kidding myself if I said I had anything else to live for.

On the other side of the door is a girl with flame red hair. "Follow me exactly or you'll get blown sky high." She warns.

Hopping in an odd pattern, I do as she says. I don't quite understand why. "Why are we hopping?"

"The Gardener activated land mines. So anyone who tries to escape can't get past. After throwing rocks, I found the safe spots. Or at least some of them." The girl explains.

"Who the fuck are you then?" She questions.

"Zeke." I say. "I'm-"

"Ivy's boyfriend. She...says your name in her sleep." She finishes. Ivy. That's who she is to this girl.

"What's your name?" I ask back.

She looks around for a moment. "Selene. But Ivy knew me as Peony." She introduces herself.

"Come with me. You should...probably come see this." Selene goes a bit pale.

I follow her. "You know...Ivy was my only friend in this place. The only fucking person I trusted."

"Tina. I'm sure she'd want you to know her as her true self. Tina Ruth Belcher." I tell her.

"Tina. We were...good friends." Selene sighs.

At the end of the hallway, she stops and opens the door. On the other side is a pool of blood.

"She...she was right here." Selene gasps.

She nearly faints. "Oh God. Oh FUCK!" She swears. Reminds me of Louise. I bet that gave Tina a piece of home.

Selene sprints down the hall and I follow her to a big room of glass displays.

I catch on to what she's looking for as soon as I see what's displayed inside of the glass cases.
