"Honestly, she's so annoying."

"I'M IN TEARS! OUR SUNSHINE'S BIRTHDAY'S COMING UP AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!"

"Let me copy down your homework!"

The atmosphere was filled with conversations, as always. Sounds of gossip, chatter, and other rambles were at play.

The mindless chatter around me, however, died down into background noise as the familiar shrill of someone's voice overpowered it.

"Sweetie, you can't wear garbage and expect it to be 'fashion.'"

My ears perked up.

'That voice sounded familiar...' The voice grew louder as I walked towards the culprit, whipping out my phone to record evidence.

A tearful voice then followed, "B-but this...this is my favorite..."

I turned the corner, and there: I see the owner of the voice, as well as a shaky, timid one.

The presumable "garbage"-wearing girl fumbled with her skirt, "I thought it looked nice."

Her hopeful expression faltered when the snarky girl retorted back, "You thought wrong, Ayumi. It looks like trash, perfectly embodies how much of a loser your brother was."

"Mio, please! He wasn't a loser!"

But nonetheless, "Ayumi"'s attempts were futile as Mio snickered to her underdogs.
