"Shay, Gerard manipulated her. It's not her fault" Scott defended.
"She tried to kill my brother!" I practically yelled down the phone.
"You need to think about this"
"Allison tried to kill my brother. Numerous times. You can't expect me to forgive that"
"Please. I'm not saying forgive her straight away okay but think about over time"
"Scott, I can't just-"
"If you saw how upset she was about it last night, you would understand"
"Well unfortunately, my best friend decided to go against me. However, if she'd maybe stopped to think about the consequences of it first, maybe we would have avoided this situation. And anyway, why are you telling me all this. If she really wanted to apologise then she should talk to me herself"
"Stop being so stubborn"
"Stop being so forgiving"
"I give up"
"Good"
"Good"
"Bye"
"Bye"
I groaned and hung up the phone, throwing it on my bed.
There was a knock at my door and I reached over to the door handle and opened it.
"Isaac?" I asked.
"Good morning" he smiled. "I just wanted to see if you were okay"
I bit my lip and sat down on my bed. Isaac sat next to me.
"Well aside from the hurt of my best friend going against me to try and kill my brother, I'm great" I offered a weak smile.
Isaac smiled and placed his hand on top of mine.
"I know this isn't exactly what you want to hear right now but I think you should think about what she was going through. Derek killed her mother and she was vulnerable. Gerard used this to manipulate her. And I'm not saying that this is an excuse for her to do all those things but she is your best friend. Please don't throw that away. I don't like seeing you hurt"
"Isaac?"
"Mm?" He looked up with a small smile.
"I love you"
"Y-you love me?"
I nodded. "I know, I know. We've only known each other for what, three months? But I love you so much Isaac"
His lips curved into a wide smile. "I love you too"
There was another knock at my door and both Isaac and I stood up when we heard it.
"Oh, hi Isaac" my brother said awkwardly.
"Can I help you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes actually" he said. "Both of you. Follow me"
Isaac and I shared a look before following my older brother.
Derek didn't say a word as he lead us outside and through the woods.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see" he said.
I spotted Uncle Peter waiting by a tree and then I spotted the mark on the door of our old house.
I frowned. "What's going on?"
"You haven't told them everything yet, have you?" Peter asked my brother as we walked closer to our old house.
