"Where are you going?" A voice behind me made me jump out of my skin. I turned around and was met with Derek's stern eyes.

"To fairyland to ride unicorns and swim in chocolate where do you think" I rolled my eyes.

"Do you want me to drop you off at school?"

"Oh, the school you enrolled me at without me knowing. Sure, if you're offering" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well I'm dropping Isaac off anyway, so"

"Oh, I see" I laughed a little. "Well, if you insist"

Isaac came bounding down the stairs with a wide smile on his face. "Morning"

"LaHEY there Isaac" I laughed at my joke but Derek and Isaac gave me a 'r u srs' look.

"Okay then" I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. "Well, let's go"

"Have you seen the hot new girl?" I heard someone behind me say. I chuckled to myself and turned around to find the source of the voice, shutting my locker behind me.

"Yes, I have" I recognised that as Scott's voice.

"Hey, Scott!" I waved, making my way over to him and the boy with the buzzed hair standing next to him, who's mouth dropped open.

"Hi Scott's friend" I smiled at the boy. He blinked and then started to lean against the lockers, tripping slightly.

It took everything in me not to burst out laughing.

"Stiles, this is Shay Hale" Scott introduced.

Stiles' eyes widened. "As in werewolf Derek's-" I made my eyes glow beta yellow and his eyes widened. "Okay, remind me never to get on the wrong side of you"

I was about to retort something but the bell rang, making me cover my ears and wince.

"Well I better get to lesson, see you later Scott" I nodded at him. "Stiles" I jokingly winked. He grabbed Scott's arm, eyes widened in shock that I actually just winked at him.

"You don't even know your way around" Scott called after me.

I turned around and shrugged and then continued to down the busy corridor.

"Dude did you see that, she freaking winked at me"

I was so busy laughing at Stiles' comment that I forgot to look where I was going.

"Sorry" I muttered as I slammed into someone, knocking the books out of their hand.

"No problem" It was a girl with long dark brown hair, brown eyes and a wide, gentle smile. I bent down to help her pick her folders up. "Thanks" she smiled again. Then she frowned. "I haven't seen you around before, are you new?"

"Yeah, got here yesterday" I smiled nervously.

"I'm Allison" she held her hand out.

"Shay" I shook it.

"Nice to meet you Shay. So what lesson have you got next? I'll take you there"

I peered down at my schedule and then lifted my head up again. "History"

"Great. Me and my friend Lydia are in that class too" she started to walk, me by her side.

We made it half way down the corridor when a girl with strawberry-blond hair came strutting towards us.

"That's Lydia. And I bet you that the first thing she'll say to you is that your jacket is killer" Allison whispered.

"Allison" she smiled at her best friend. Then she looked at me.
