Frozen

Here's my rant about Frozen.

I'd just like to point out that although I am going to be criticizing Frozen, it is actually one of my favourite movies.

Yes, I'm a huge disney nerd.

Moving on.

So in the beginning of the movie, there is a bunch of dudes cutting ice, and singing about it.

Idk, I feel like that song was kinda useless.

Anyways, there's little Kristof there with little Sven.

The first time I watched the movie, I kinda assumed he must be related to one of the workers cutting the ice.

It's not that hard of an assumption to make. I mean, nobody should let a little kid tag along with their semi dangerous work.

But then later in the film we learn that the trolls have adopted him.

So that's confusing.

Does nobody notice his absence? How he suddenly started to live with trolls? What?

Okay, moving on.

So then we have little Elsa and Anna. So Anna wakes Elsa up, blah blah blah.

They're running down the stairs into their ballroom, with Elsa shushing Anna.

Less than thirty seconds later, they're like screaming and whatnot. So that also makes no sense.

Let's skip ahead to when Elsa hits Anna in her head with ice.

So a few seconds back, both of them were screaming and making a big ruckus, and yet their parents never heard them.

When all is quiet and Elsa yells for her parents, they come.

How did they hear her cry yet they didn't hear them playing a moment before?

Okay, let's skip a few years into the future.

Anna has been stuck inside the castle her whole life. The entire kingdom has like never seen her.

So when she comes outside, why is everyone so indifferent and not like mobbing her?

Seriously. She is one of the kingdoms princesses that they have not seen for who knows how long.

Come on guys.

Next, I'd like to talk about how Anna is portrayed as being awkward.

When you thin about it, she's not that awkward.

Watch "For The First Time In Forever".

She jumps onto that swingy thing outside her window, right?

If she was awkward and unbalanced, how could she have swung back and forth on that?

She's not awkward or unbalanced at all. She slid down that railing with ease. So much for "awkward and unbalanced".

Oh, and you know, when she slid into the ballroom while singing: "why have a ballroom with no balls?"

So yeah.

Okay so end of song happens, she bumps into Hans. They meet, blah blah blah.

So Hans is the bad guy, right? He is known to pretend to like Anna, when he supposedly doesn't.

So why, when Anna walks away, he stills has a lovestruck gaze on his face?

That doesn't make sense.

Another thing, Elsa's gloves. What did they contain that made them hide her powers? Are mere pieces of fabric strong enough to contain her ice powers that eventually froze the whole kingdom?

And apparently Elsa was born with her powers. So why didn't Anna have powers as well? And neither parents?

Elsa's powers are super confusing. So I get the whole winter theme. How she can freeze stuff and make ice and snow and crap.

How does that permit her to make a friggen dress?

Get it together Disney smh.

Next, the entire movie is based on how you don't need a man to save you. Girl power woo hoo!

I feel like they tried to hard to show that you don't need a man to save you.

They really showed off the fact that Kristof couldn't save Anna in time.

I understand they wanted to show off the movie was about girl power, but come on.

But the biggest thing that made me angry? How Elsa can run in heels perfectly. That shit is impossible.

Despite that, I actually love that movie. I actually love Disney. I'm such a hypocrite. Haha okay see ya.
