Harry's POV
Tuesday November 5th

My mom and dad just moved here to Maui
I'm mad at them. I had a whole life back in California
I had friends I had a girlfriend. But my parents made me leave them. I've made two friends zayn and Liam. They seem like good guys

At school
I was in my class sitting in a random seat I really hope nobody was sitting here before today.

This girl sat beside me. I've never seen someone so pretty.
Stop Harry stop thinking like this you love your girlfriend or your ex I wasn't really sure we didn't really talk about where we stood before I left we just kinda cried.

Kai's POV
After class Ariana Ava and I walked to the nearest local restaurant where we ran into Liam, Zayn and the new kid I sat beside In class I just couldn't remember his name. Zayn was just like Liam. Nice and caring when he's by himself but when he's around his group of popular friends he's rude.
Nonetheless Liam ended up waving us over to sit with them seeing there table sat 6 and there were only threeof them

I didn't think I would enjoy sitting with them as much as I had.

"What's your name sorry I'm not great with names"I asked the new boy. He seemed shy but sweet he didn't seem like the kind of guy to treat someone wrong

"Oh it's Harry. Uh what's your name?" He asked shyly

"It's Kai. How long have you been in Maui? I don't think I've seen you around" I asked sweetly

"About a week my parents work with nature and they thought this would be the best place to settle down " he replied

We all talked for hours all of us completely forgetting that we still had the rest of the school day to finished we all sat in that restaurant and talked about a variety of things we all actually opened up to eachother about things we wouldn't normally talk about with new friends. I felt comfortable with them.

We all eventually ended up leaving around 6 o clock due to there parents wanting them home

The only person who didn't leave was Harry. He had gone to the bathroom after saying goodbye to everyone so he had thought I had left aswell.

"Kai?" He asked surprised to see me still here

"Hey sorry I just didn't feel like leaving yet. Are you going home?' I replied

"No, my parents are never really home as much anymore" he says quietly

"Well I mean I live alone so I know how you feel" I responded

From there on we talked for 3 more hours until the owner of the restaurant basically shooed us out
Harry ended up walking me home. We got along really well which was surprising because I've never really gotten along this well with new people.
Once we arrived to my apartment we said goodbye and then we hugged.

That night I went to sleep with the biggest smile on my face
