The past year of mine and Harry's lives haven't been that eventful 2 months after Darcy was born Harry's management wanted him to do a world tour but Harry just wanted to be with Darcy and I. Harry ended up settling for a mini secret show tour.
Ariana and Liam ended up having a baby boy named reed Those three couldn't be happier. **** Today was a big day. A month ago I had gotten in contact with my mother. I didn't tell her anything about me, all I said to her was that I had been busy. Her and I ended up planning to have lunch at the local cafe. She knew Harry was coming but she didn't even know Darcy existed
"Are you and Darcy ready darling?" Harry asks pulling me from my trance.
"Hm oh yes just have to put Darcy's booties on" I replied
Once I finished getting Darcy ready I put her in her car seat And Harry got in the drivers seat
He put his hand on my thigh and rubbed his thumb in circular motions. It made me calm and he knew that.
After we arrived to the cafe I went inside and looked around until I saw my mother sitting in a booth reading a magazine. As we walk over my hand is tightly interlocked with Harry's and Darcy in Harry's other arm. She didn't notice us until we were right beside the booth.
"Mom?" I ask pulling her attention towards us
"Kai!" She responded whilst standing up to greet us
"And who are they?" She asks whilst sitting down
"This is my boyfriend Harry, and my daughter, Darcy Mae" I respond "She's beautiful" she says while looking at her
We spent two hours in that little cafe relearning everything we've missed throughout the years My mom broke up with noah and has met someone who treats her like a queen his name is Derek. The twins are great they are now 6 and a half or so. My mom and Harry got along really well. Today was good. I'm glad Darcy has a grandma.
On the drive back to the house Harry and I hadn't talked much but that was ok. It wasn't an awkward silence it was a calming silence.
Back at the house Harry was in his office and I was singing Darcy to sleep
"Have you ever thought of putting your voice out there, making music?" Harry asks me from the doorway
"I haven't" I replied trying to not wake Darcy
"You should come on tour with me. You could be the opening act" he says excitedly
A million thoughts were running threw my mind. Since when was he going on tour? How long has he known about this tour? Was it his idea? When was he gonna tell me? What does he expect me to do with Darcy?
"Kai?" He says pulling me from thought "Is something wrong?" He quickly adds
"Since when we're you going on tour?" I ask leaving Darcy's room trying to not wake her.
"I've known for a week" he responds
"What? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I say starting to get mad
"I was going to I just didn't know how" he responds as he sits on the bed
"And your going through with the tour?" "At least tell me it's not a world tour?" I quickly add
He doesn't say anything. He just sits there playing with his thumbs
"Jesus Christ Harry, what am I supposed to do. What about Darcy?" I ask
"You can come with me!" He says trying to lighten the mood
"Harry you know that would never work. That is way to much travelling for Darcy" I say as I walk into our ensuite and start getting ready for bed
"You don't realize how big this is for my career kai!" He says starting to get frustrated
"What about us. If you do the tour you have to pack up everything and leave us. Not knowing the next time you'll see us" I start tearing up but I pull myself together not wanting to seem week
"You don't understand Kai. You don't know what it's like to have this kind of opportunity" he loudly says from the closet
"Do the fucking tour Harry, but remember. While your out partying and having fun. Your girlfriend is at home taking care of the baby you decided to leave" I finish.
I didn't feel like dealing with Harry after that so I stayed on the bed in Darcy's room
****** One month later Harry leaves today. Him and I are on good terms. He knows how much I didn't want him doing this tour he still is.
As I stand in the airport with Darcy in my arms watching the love of my life walk away I've never felt lonelier Even with the hundreds of people rushing by to get to there plane, that is the loneliest I've ever felt. Other than when Harry left me 2 years ago.
