You were eating breakfast at the table, having some pancakes and a banana for breakfast. You were chatting with Adam while you ate. It was a nice and slow morning. You decided to stay in your pajamas until you were ready for normal clothes.

Just as you were about to take another bite, someone walked through the door. You looked over to see Betelgeuse at the entrance of the kitchen. You froze when you saw him, recalling what happened the night before. Deciding to brush it off and forget it ever happened, you took another bite of your pancake.

"Good morning," You said, slightly waving at him.

"Mornin'," Betelgeuse replied. He walked over to Adam, who he patted hard on the back.

"Ow! Betelgeuse!" Yelled Adam, rubbing his back where he had hit it. Betelgeuse then came to you and rubbed the top of your head, messing up your hair in the process.

"How's everyone doin' this morning?" Asked Betelgeuse, sitting on the counter.

"Doing worse now, thanks to you." Adam shot a death glare at him. Betelgeuse ignored his stare.

"Good! How about you, (Y/n)?" He then turned to you.

"I'm fine I guess." You said, keeping your stare at your plate.

Barbara then walked into the kitchen, carrying a painting in her hand.

"Babs!" Yelled Betelgeuse and ran up to her, pulling her into a hug. You and Adam just looked at each other with furrowed brows.

"Oh, hello, Betelgeuse!" She put her arms down by her sides after making sure the painting wouldn't get ruined. He went back to sitting on the counter. The three of you looked at him with raised eyebrows, confused as to why he was acting so cheerful. You all just shrugged it off and went back to what you were doing. "Anyway, I painted this new painting this morning. You guys like it?"

"Yeah, it's so beautiful. The snow looks like it's actually sparkling!" You said, gazing at the beautiful picture.

"Thanks! I got inspiration from outside."

"Outside?" Asked Adam.

"Have you guys not looked outside yet?" She walked over to the window above the kitchen sink and opened the curtains. Outside, there was a giant blanket of snow, sparkling in the morning sunlight. You looked in awe at the snow, a hint of a smile on your lips. Adam also looked happy at the fallen snow, resting his chin in his hand.

An idea popped into your head, a mischievous smile replacing your other one. You quickly finished your breakfast and put it in the sink, washing it. Then you walked over to Betelgeuse who was still sitting on the counter. His brows furrowed at you walking over to him with that smile on your face.

"Hey, Betelgeuse, you wanna take a little walk outside? Get a little fresh air?" You said, hiding your mischievous grin.

He looked out the window and shrugged. "There's no point for air but sure, why not?"

"Can we join too?" Asked Barbara and Adam at the same time.

You nodded. "Of course."

And so you went upstairs to get dressed and put on a jacket and gloves. Walking back downstairs to the front door, you put on winter boots and waited for Betelgeuse to come down. Adam and Barbara then came down the stairs, Betelgeuse following them. He was still wearing his striped suit and no winter gear at all.

"Aren't you going to be cold?" You asked him.

"Demons don't really get cold, sweetheart. Snow and cold don't bother ghosts and demons. Or anyone who's dead really." He said, crossing his arms.
