Harry's POV

I regained myself after a few hours of simply sitting with my thoughts. I came to the conclusion that maybe I just needed to talk to Draco because if he's not going to talk and run away, then I'll be the one to talk to him, like always.

I stood up and with a bearing heart I walked towards the castle.

I might've been upset at Draco but he must've just said it out of stress, right?

Well, that's what I was hoping 'cuz i don't know if I can bear even the thought of Draco actually meant his words.

When I walked in the building, the castle was mostly empty and that's when I realised that it must be lunch time.

I suddenly found myself feeling a bit more warm and I didn't even realise how cold my body was and how much i was shivering outside in the October breeze.

I wrapped an arm around myself to get a bit more of warmth as I walked to the great hall for lunch.

"Mate, there you are!" Ron exclaimed happily when he spotted me enter the familiar great hall that was filled with bustle and chatters.

I walked over to the eighth year tables and sat beside Ron. Draco sitting in front of me in between Pansy and Blaise.

He was looking down at his plate and eating quietly, making no signs of listing his head.

I sighed and placed a bit of mashed potato and roasted beef that was marinated in pepper sauce. Hogwarts had lovely meals as usual but I had a small appetite.

So I only picked a bit that I could hopefully digest.

"Harry, is that all you're taking?" 'Mione questioned as she eyed me.

"Yeah, I had quite a huge breakfast." I said which wasn't the truth but wasn't a lie either. I ate a good amount a food which is still quite considered huge in my eyes.

Hermione gave me a look that almost looked like disappointment but quietly ate her food with a slight frown creasing her brows.

"Oh yeah, did you guys hear about the news of the death eater escape." Ron said, breaking the silence.

"Um yeah, I did." Pansy vaguely answered which was weird of her since she was the talkative type.

"It's kind of disappointing that we can't have a Hogsmeade weekend or go out of our common room after 10pm." Blaise said with a shrug.

"Mhm, I agree on that." Ron said with a mouthful.

Then we talked about random school work and it was all good until a familiar Eagle owl dropped a letter off to Draco.

He seemed to gulp hard as he took the letter with shaky fingers. I watched closely at every reaction he made as he read the letter.

Once he was done he ripped the letter up and excused himself.

I was gonna continue eating when I remembered about the fact that we need to talk and I quickly excused myself and followed Draco.

I soon spotted him just when he turned a corner.

"Draco!" I said as I chased the boy who looked eager to leave.

He turned and faced me with a look of confusion.

"Look, i-" i tried to speak but I stopped to take a few deep breaths. Hermione wasn't kidding when she said I was getting weak.

"I understand." Was what I chose to say.
