        Prov 3:5-6
Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall make your path straight.

    He made my path straight.

Praise the Lord, I've come to return all thanks and glory to the maker of the universe, I said standing on the altar in a church of over three hundred people .

"By this time last year, I was like any other jambite, expecting admission with this beautiful picture in sight of a wonderful future, forgetting that a future where Jesus isn't pictured is a fiction of one's intuition.

I didn't gain the admission I so much desired and then I was so bitter, little did i know that something much worse was on its way.

A curse, an oath that was made by my fore forefathers before the thought of me ever crossed any one's mind and i was about to be burdened with it .

Academic stagnation.

I and my parents met pastor and he prayed for us by the grace of God breaking the curse that had affected my aunties and grand aunties before.

God saved me and broke the yoke, I gave my life to christ and he renewed me.

But he didn't stop at that", I said raising my admission letter.

This is a proof, i'm a living testimony, I was picked as the best student in jamb and given a scholarship.

I've come to acknowledge the fact that it wasn't me, it was all GOD.

It was received with shouts of joy, cheers and I was glad seeing students claiming the testimony.

It had taken confidence granted by the holy ghost not to stutter and stammer while sharing the testimony.

Maybe my testimony could actually touch someone and boost one's faith.

My admission letter had arrived yesterday and I'll be leaving tomorrow monday.

My name was the first on the admission list of the university of lagos.

It is one of the best school in the country and I didn't get to stress myself thanks to the scholarship.

Pastor was so happy and had prayed for me when I told him I'll be leaving tomorrow.

After service I received a lot of congratulations from different angles and gifts from friends and loved ones.

I walked to our car, yes my dad got a car which we were in great need of.

I was late, micheal was sitting at the front seat already, not because he liked that spot but because he knew I liked that spot.

Nevermind the fact that he came all the way from school just to see me off to my hostel.

We drove home in quiet peace everyone  to their thoughts, that is apart from when micheal teased me that the testimony was the longest he had ever heard.

When we got home, dad hugged all three of us saying he loves us and all, believe me you hear that once in a while.

Mum prepared fried rice, we ate laughing and enjoying our selves.

Afterwards I had my brother and sister help me pack up.

I gave princess most of my old clothes, wanting to get new ones fitted for going to school.

Mum called me personally and advised me, I think I saw tears in her eyes, gosh! I never knew I was this loved.

I promised to be the good girl I have always been.
