PEACE OFFERING✌️📄 (CHAPTER 15)

ALEXA'S POV

Axis and Asher didn't come home last night. Asher texted me that they stayed at his condominium. "Mom, can we please talk?" I asked my mom. I just can't keep what I'm feeling right now. We have to do something. I don't want to see my brother getting sad because of all this business problems. They have nothing to do with my parent's problems. "Mom, don't you think that we should settle everything with the Kang's?" I asked her. "I wish it's that easy." "We should at least try." I told her. "We would do that if everyone agreed to it especially your brother." I was startled when my dad joined the talk. I didn't know that dad would also like to settle with the Kang's. "They are a very close people of our family. Our bond with them was pretty good." Dad explained. My dad went out as he had to take up a call.

"Everybody, get ready we are all going to the company." Dad shouted and everyone rushed to their room to get ready.

"Why are suddenly rushing into the company?" I asked. "My secretary told me that there were people there who wanted to talk to all of us." Dad replied. "How about Asher and Axis?" Allie asked. "Let's just go to their condo and fetch them." And with that we headed to Asher's condo.

We entered his pin code and went inside. There we're luggage and travel bags on the couch. Wait, do I hear a kid talking? "Daddy, I'm hungry." The kid said as she ran towards the kitchen. "Daddy, there are people in the house." The kid said and the guy went out of the room. "What are you doing here?" "Who are these people." "Asher what's with the..." Axis also went out of the room with a girl. "Babe, who are they?" the girl said as she clinged to Asher's arms. "Uhmm dad, I'll explain." "You better should." My dad said. "There is no time explaining. There are people waiting for us." Mom said. "Let's go now." Dad said and the other's just follow. The car ride was kind of awkward. Good thing we arrived at the company in no time.

"Sir, they are waiting in your office." Dad's secretary said and we all just headed there. When we went inside, we were all shocked y who the people were. "Finally, you have arrived." Nope. They are not trying to do something bad, are they? Gash. "What do you want?" my dad shouted at them. "Don't worry we'll not make it hard for you." Haruko aid as he smirked. Sakura then walked towards us. Then she was pulling something from her bag. We all got scared. Axis then slowly went near her. "Sakura, can't we settle it in another way?" He pleaded to the girl who is now smirking. "What are you talking about?" she asked. "Here." She said before handing us an envelope. When we read what's inside, we all got shock. "Is this true?" my dad said. "We wanted to clear things out as we don't want to make things complicated." Haru butted in. "So, are you accepting it or not." Sakura asked. "Ye..." before we could answer, Axis raised his one arm and we all stopped. "How can we be sure that you are not trying to trap us?" Axis said as he looked intently at Sakura. "Why? Are you scared?" she replied. "Nope." Axis said before going closer to Sakura. "We'll agree in one condition." He whispered to the girl. "What?" the girl asked. "Go back to me." Axis said coldly. Sakura's eyes widen and everyone is hiding their smiles. "Don't pretend that you don't want to." The girl at the back whom I believe is Haru's ex said. "What if I said no?" Sakura said but everyone behind her back went to our side. We all then looked at her at said. "Just say yes." Then we all laugh. "Do I have a choice?" she said and all of us cheered. Finally, after years of disagreement, our families have finally reunited again. "I guess this gives a reason to celebrate." My dad said and we all just cheered.

AXIS'S POV

We rode our cars to go on to the restaurant we are planning on celebrating this occasion. We got there and went inside the VIP room. I sat beside Sakura and Allie. "Are you still mad at me?" I asked her. She ignored me and talked to Alexa who is beside her. "Hey, talk to me." I said as I continuously tap her back. "What's your problem?" "Talk to me." I told her simply. "Talk to yourself." I said as she turned her back to me. "What's wrong with her? Is she on her period?" I asked the three people who is sitting on my front; Hikaru, Yuna and Riley. "Why would I tell you? She might kill me." Hikaru said as he laughs along with the two girls. "Ahahahahahaha we don't want to die to early." Riley stated making the other two laughs more. They kept on laughing until Hikaru suddenly choked. "Serves you right. Karma's a bitch." Sakura said while smirking. "Watch your language young lady." Hikaru said as he drinks his water. "Watch your language young lady." Sakura mockingkly said. "So, what really happened? Why are suddenly mad at him?" Allie asked Sakura.

We all then got closer. "Should I just tell you then?" Riley said with a grin. We all then move closer to went closer to Riley. Sakura just looked at us in disbelief before sighing in defeat. "So, you remember last night?" she asked. "She texted Axis. Then we accidentally clicked the call button so she talked to Axis through the call." She said. "Oh, I remember that." I said. "Then what happened?" Asher said as he moved closer. "Then they just talked but suddenly..." "Okay that's enough story time. The food is here." Sakura cuts off Riley. "But the other line went off." Hikaru continued. They all look at each other before bursting out their laughter. "Good luck with that Axis." Haru said as he pats my back before going back to his seat. "Baby, I'm sorry~. I didn't mean to hang up. You see..." before I could finish my sentence, she looks at me and said "Don't talk to me. DO YOU KNOW HOW EMBARRASSING THAT WAS?" she said making everyone once again burst into laughter. "Let me explain first." I said and she just starred at me. "So, this is what happened..."

I was talking to Sakura about some random stuffs. "Do you remember that ti..." Oh, gosh. My battery is dead. I quickly went to Asher to borrow a charger. "Please, Just for an hour. I didn't bring anything except for my phone." I said as I pleaded him. "Okay. Stand up now." He said as he handed me his charger. "Shoot. Shoot. Shoot." I repeatedly said as I turn on my phone. I opened my inbox and find her name. I opened our chat box. I'm DEAD. She blocked off my number. I put my hands at my face. I stroked my hair as I feel the stress rising up. This is really crazy.

"ahhahahahhhahhahahhahahhahahahahhA." Everyone just laughed off. "It's not funny." Sakura said while pouting. "So, do you forgive me now?" I asker her. "Yeah, yeah." She just said and we all laughed.

"Just keep on celebrating Sakura. Have fun while you still can." I hope that you will learn from this mistake.

"Get ready. I'll head there now. Expect me after 20 minutes." "Yes ma'am."
