NO ONE’S POV

The Lee’s house was quite. Well, at least it is. “No, I won’t leave you alone!” The guy protested. “I’ll be fine.” The girl answered back calmly as she tries to go downstairs. “Just stay here. I’ll cook the food and bring it up here” Axis insisted and Sakura couldn’t do anything but to agree to his husband’s command. “At least let me help.” She said but Axis’s mind won’t change. “Nope can do, baby. Now stay here ok?” He said before giving her a peck on the lips then left the room
“Wahhhh, we’re gonna miss you guys.”  “We’ll only be gone for a week.” Haruko said as he hugs his sister back. “You’re not yet married yet you already having your honeymoon?” Hikaru teased earning a hit from his older brother. “Do you have your passports? Are your luggages complete? Are you sure you have everything?” His mom asked. “Mom I’ll be fine.” He said with a smile. “Oh come on. He’ll only be gone for a week. What’s with the fuzz?” Haru said with an annoyed voice. “Just jealous because you couldn’t book a flight.” Haruko replied back with a genuine smile. “Well, we better be going now.” They bid their goodbye’s to each other and watched the couple disappear from their sights.
Haruko’s POV
After we bid our goodbyes, we headed to the plane we will be riding to. Nothing interesting during the flight but when we arrive at the airport, things started to get messed up. “Darn it, are you sure you brought the bag with you?” Diana asked frustrated. “Yeah… I think so…” I said as I kept looking around. “Maybe you left it somewhere? Maybe at the plane?” She said as we continue to search for our bag. “Have you checked the conveyer belt? Maybe it’s there… Try- Try to check it again.” Diana said. “Nevermind. Forget about the bag…” I said and she looked at me in disbelief. “Are you serious right now? All your clothes are in there!” “We could just buy new ones. I’m sure we’ll pass by some shops on the way.” I said trying to calm her down but I guess it didn’t work. “Haruko! That bag is filled with all your designer clothes! It’ll probably cost hundreds and thousands of dollars.” She almost screamed in frustration. “Let’s go. We still have to take a boat.” I said and grabbed her bags. She did not mutter anything and just trailed behind with her arms crossed.
I watched her as she mesmerized the view. The island was actually not open to all people. There is a limit on the head count. I brought in our luggages together with the other stuff that we brought. I roamed around our house and its pretty good. I went out to see Diana. She was on one of the sun chairs facing the sea as she took some photos. I smiled at her view. I left a note at the kitchen saying that I’ll go out for a while and will be back before sunset.
As I was walking away, I realized that we are on a private island. Shoot. Darn it. Do I have to take a boat? I started looking around trying to find any store to buy clothes? Maybe like souvenir shops? How dumb of me. Luckily, there were some shops on the other side of the island. There couple of people here too. I went inside of the shops and looked around. I picked a couple of clothes and garments to use. As I was looking around, my steps were halted when I saw a certain chain. It was made out of a conch shell. It looks beautiful. I looked around again and saw some more accessories. Particularly, rings. As I stare at those deeply, my thoughts also does the same.
“Diana, will you marry me?”
“Yes…”

“Excuse me sir? Are you going to buy all of these?” My imagination was interrupted when one of the sales lady talked. “Oh, uhm, yeah.” I said and she took the basket. I was having a second thought on buying the rings but ended up taking them. I also stopped by some stores where they sell food. Instant noodles, meat, fruits, drinks…. A few snacks and treats. Wow. Their store has it all. It might be small but it sure is packed. After picking out some food, I made my way back to our house
I halted my steps when I saw Diana walking around looking so frustrated. I immediately ran towards her, worried that something happened. “HARUKO!” She shouted as she ran towards me and went in for a hug. “W-what happened…. A-are you ok?” I said in between my breathing. I then felt my shirt getting wet. Then followed by some silent sobs. I hugged her back while still holding the heavy bags on me. “Where d-did…. You g-go?” She said in between her cries. “Why? Did something happen?” I asked Diana who is still burying her face on my chest. She shooked her head no and I sighed.

“Why didn’t you tell me!” she shouted as soon as we entered the house. “I left a note! Besides even if I try to talk to you, you would not hear me out anyway.” I said with a frown. “And why would I not?” She said as she crossed her arms. She really is like Sakura. Tsk. “You’re mad at me.” I defended myself. She laughed making me confused. I looked at her. “Me? Mad? At you?” She said still laughing. “You went away and did not talk to me because you thought I was mad at you?” She said and sat at the couch. Of course, still laughing. “Weren’t you?” I asked. “Why would I be?” She asked and turned on the T.V. before gesturing me to sit down with her. “If it was about the incident at the airport, forget about it. I was just stressed out.” She looked at me with a smile. I nodded and wrapped my arms around her. “What did you buy?” She asked as she l ayed down my arms. “Clothes. EH. Maybe some food to munch on.” I said and she immediately stood up. “You bought snacks!” She squealed. But before she could go grab a food, I pulled her towards me resulting her sitting on my lap. “But for today…. I’ll be your snack.” 😏😏
