HARUKO'S POV

Dinner's up. We're inside the villa to eat our dinner. "Do we have any plans for tomorrow?" Allie asked. "I'm wondering the same too. I mean we will be staying here for a week don't we have anything else to do besides swimming, sunbathing and taking photos." I asked. "We can sleep." Ace said and we all looked at him. "Don't worry my cousin, you'll be able to sleep to." Sakura said as she pats Ace's back. We just laughed at him and he just continued eating. "Well, we actually have a pamphlet that contains all of the activities we will be doing." Dad said. "Jet skiing, banana boat, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving." Dad enumerated and everyone got delighted. "Those were just some of the activities we can do. They also hold some activities like hiking, camping and some sand activities." Dad added. "Now that's full package." Sakura said and everyone laughed.

"Can't sleep?" I asked as I sat beside the girl who is viewing the ocean. "Actually, I wanted to stay up late. The sea is more calming at night." Diana said. We were sitting at the sand so it's quite uncomfortable. "Why not stay at the balcony inside? It has better view." I said as I look at her. "I was going to but there's couple talking up there so I decided to just go here." She said. I just nodded. "Aren't you going in yet? It's quite windy. You might catch a cold." She said with worry evident on her voice. "You catch cold pretty easily." She added. I shrugged her words off and continue starring at the sea. I was startled when she suddenly stood up and dusted her pants off. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I'm sure you'll say that if I do not go inside, you'll do the same." I just laughed and followed her behind.

As we head to our room. I pulled her and brought her to the balcony. "Why are we here?" she asked. I just told her to close her eyes and don't open it until I say so. She just nodded and kept her eyes close.

"Is everything ready?" I whispered at the people behind the curtains.

"Yep. And here is the bouquet."

"The chocolate."

"You can now go. We have finished setting it up. Good luck bro."

They all said before heading back inside the villa. "Haruko... Are you still there?" Diana said as she began to wonder with her eyes closed. I let her roam around until she bumped at me. I hold her waist and I guess she got surprised. "What's all of this?" she asked. "Nothing. Just keep your eyes closed." I told her as I led her to the chair Sakura and the others set up. I was planning on confessing to her today.

I told her to open her eyes and she was shocked when she saw the set-up we made.

"So... uhmm... Do you like it?" I asked her nervously but still try to maintain my posture. "I do but what is this for?" she asked as she continue to admire everything about it. "Just a little thank you gift, I guess." I said. "Take a seat." I told her as I pulled the chair. "This feels weird." She said before she released a chuckle. "Why?" I asked as I look at her. "This looks like a very formal dinner..." she paused and looked at me. I felt nervous as she stares at me. 'Does she know what all of this about?' 'What if she knew and she rejects me?' 'What if she resigns because of that?'. "But we are wearing pajamas." She said and laughed. I just laughed along so that she won't feel awkward. Phew, I thought she going to caught me.

We just ate and laughed together. I really feel like we're getting closer. I planned on confessing to her after we ate. It's not a heavy meal. It's more of like a midnight snacks so it's really weird having an enchanting set-up yet we are eating biscuits and more likely, sweets.

"Uh... Diana." I called her and she just hummed. "I got to tell you something." I paused and looked at her. She stared at me before stating "Sure." I released a sigh before I started talking. "I'll tell you about it but do not try to run away nor give a major reaction. I want you to be calm and think about it okay?" I said making her gulp. "Don't tell me your gay. I'll definitely start shouting." She said teasingly with a chuckle. I just laughed along. "I like you." I said straightforward. "Your funny." She said. "Was that suppose to be a rejection?" She stopped laughing and looked at me seriously. "That was not a joke?" she asked. "Do you think that my love for you is a joke?" I asked her back. She just smiled and said "No. But are you sure that that's what your feeling?" she asked again. "Yes." I said plainly. "Are you planning on rejecting me?" "You haven't asked me anything. You just confessed so there's nothing to answer.' She said as she stands up and went to the railings of the balcony before staring at the night sky. "I'm not rejecting you nor accepting you." I was stopped. I don't know if this is a good thing or not.
