A whole week has passed and Germany had seemed to be enjoying himself. He got along with the other siblings. He got used to the fights they had. He got used to seeing USSR late nights when everyone is asleep. The family could say the same about Germany. The siblings were excited about having Germany as their sister in law. 'Sister' in law.
Germany was having doubts. He liked them so much he wasn't sure he could keep his act up. He hasn't been treated so nicely in so long and he was dreading the day they'd find out. Would they hate him? Would they treat him like how he was before? Was being a woman really the only way Germany could have a nice life?
"Lyamora?"
Germany looked at the door and there stood Russia that by the doorframe. He closed the door and gave Germany a scolding look. "What have I told you about sitting on the floor? The bed works just fine," Russia said. Germany rolled his eyes and sat on the bed instead. "Happy?" Germany asked sarcastically. "It's better. Get used to being comfortable, idiot," Russia answered.
"Anyways, we're going out today. You haven't left the house for the whole week you've been here so me and the others decided to take you out," Russia explained. "Out? For what? Shopping?" Germany asked. Russia laughed at the mention of shopping. "We're not commoners, Lyamora. Servants do the shopping," Russia replied. "Wouldn't that be boring? Having them do all that?" Germany asked with a sigh.
Russia looked a bit taken back and cleared his throat. "I guess... shopping wouldn't hurt anyone? But what would you even want to buy?" Russia asked. Germany eyes lit up at the question and Russia felt he had accomplished something great. "I want to try the cafés. I've always seen the interior from the outside and they looked so beautiful! I want to go see a theater! And maybe a bar to get a drink!" Germany demanded childishly.
"Sounds more like a date then shopping," Russia commented sarcastically. "Ah, sure we can make it a date," Germany said which took Russia off guard. "What-?" Russia asked trying not to stutter. "We should look like we're a couple in the public remember? Wouldn't a date seem convincing enough?" Germany asked Russia. "...Right... Right, yes, of course," Russia blurted.
For some reason he felt very.... frustrated. Frustrated at how dense Germany was. "But I should say that some of the others will be joining us, да?" Russia warned. "That's great! We'll have a reason to be apart, public will think we're a thing and we get more bonding time with family. Its a win win win," Germany responded. Russia let out a frustrated sigh which didn't go unnoticed. "Is something wrong?" Germany asked. "Well I'm pretty sure the others are waiting downstairs, go get dressed with something warmer," Russia lied. "Ah, right! I'll look for something. Just wait for me downstairs," Germany replied. Russia nodded and left the room.
Germany stepped out of the carriage last. The siblings that followed him and Russia to the town square were Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Of course the younger siblings wanted to go as well, but the trouble of losing them and keeping an eye on them were too much.
Germany looked around his surroundings, it was lively and pretty despite the cold weather. It wasn't like the bad parts he had to sulk around in. Alleyways filled with bad people and streets so filthy yet Germany had to go barefoot. But in the Town Square there were so many people talking with one another and the light snow that covered buildings and streets so gracefully.
"Surprised?" Russia asked, holding an arm out for Germany. Germany nodded and just as he was about to wrap his arm around Russia's the sisters pulled him away. "Lyamora, Lyamora! Look, there's an awfully amazing dress in display! Come let's check it out!" Kazakhstan exclaimed. Without hearing Germany's consent the two dragged him away and into the crowd.
"Just the two of us, Rus?" Ukraine asked. Russia let out a disappointed sigh. "Where to?"
Russia leaned on a wall as he waited for one of his siblings or Germany to arrive. He did agree to go with Ukraine, but the faggot went to a damn flower shop. A place Russia found very boring. Thus he was just waiting around like a fool. He thought to himself if he could just buy a snack or something.
"Russia! I'm sorry it took a while to get back to you!" Germany exclaimed. Russia turned to look at him maybe a bit too unguarded as he nearly dropped his jaw. Germany was in a very nice dress, it looked fancier than the dress he was wearing before. "You... ahem, Where's Bela and Kaz?" Russia asked and looked away from Germany. "They insisted I come looking for you first while they paid for the dress. I'm actually concerned how they threw the old one away so care freely," Germany explained.
Russia took a deep breath before looking back at Germany. "Well, now that everyone else's busy we-" Russia was interrupted as he heard an annoying voice. "Lyamora, you look beautiful with that dress," Ukraine said as he approaches the two. "Thank you, Ukraine. Bela and Kaz chose them for me," Germany replied. Of course the bouquet of roses didn't go unnoticed. Before Germany could ask, Ukraine handed him the bouquet.
"Take it as a gift, I was in a flower shop browsing for something you might like," Ukraine said. "Oh, Ukraine... you're very thoughtful. Thank you," Germany smiled softly. Russia felt somewhat angry at how charming Ukraine was. Was he jealous? Hell yeah. Wasn't he supposed to be the one to have plans with Germany? Why was everyone else trying to get in his way.
"Ukraine, I'll be showing Germany around. So if you and the others are done meet back here," Russia ordered as he linked his arm with Germany's. "If you're planning to show Lyamora around, I can-" Before Ukraine finished Russia and Germany left quickly.
"Russia! That was rude!" Germany scolded. "Well we wouldn't want to be late for the theater, no?" Russia asked. "Theater? You're taking me to the theater?" Germany questioned excitedly. Russia chuckled at the expression. "You said you wanted to, didn't you? We can go to a Café next," Russia stated. "Russia, thank you thank you thank you so much!" Germany exclaimed and hugged the tall man. Russia only laughed as the two made their way to the theater.
