"Russ, you're not trying to lead me to a wall, are you?" Germany asked.

"I'm not, trust me!" Russia exclaimed as he continued leading Germany away.

Russia had come up to Germany earlier telling him he had a surprise. And because of this surprise Russia had to lead Germany all the while covering his eyes. He didn't mind but Germany couldn't help feel anxious and excited.

After what felt like hours for Germany, they finally came to a stop. "Alright, I'm going to let go now," Russia warned. Germany nodded and felt the weight over his eyes lifted. His eyes widened as he saw a piano in the center of the room. Of course there were other instruments but for some reason they were moved back to display the piano.

"You said you liked music? Piano specifically?" Russia asked. Germany nodded slowly and walked to the piano. It looked very clean and undamaged. "To be honest I haven't been here since I was a kid. I used to have piano lessons. The piano's been untouched for a long time but I had it cleaned for you," Russia explained and sat on the chair. He pat the empty space beside him and Germany slowly sat next to him.

"You know how to play then?" Germany asked as he placed his fingers on the keys. "I haven't played a piano since I was a kid. I was hoping you could teach me some basics?" Russia replied. Germany laughed, "Alright. Firstly, your hands. Place them on the key notes like mine." Russia did so with some glances to Germany to see if he was in the right positions.

Germany began telling him about the notes and such. Teaching Russia some simple children songs that grew to Germany doing some classics solo. Russia didn't mind, he liked it. Germany looked very happy.

The song slowly got intense, but Russia only thought it was part of the play. It wasn't until he noticed how messy Germany's hand movements was that he looked back at Germany. He looked distress with furrowed brows.

"Lyamora?" Russia called out but it seemed he was too concentrated with the piano.

"Lyamora!" Russia said again, this time pulling his hand away.

It startled Germany and he looked back at Russia who looked worried. "Are you alright? You looked upset," Russia mentioned as he let go of Germany's hand. "I... I'm sorry, I should've told you sooner," Germany laughed nervously as he stood up. "Although I enjoy playing the piano, it's also how I cope with most of my emotions. It's how I vent the negativity out," Germany explained and stood up from the seat. Russia stood as well.

"I'm sorry I worried you," Germany stated. "Lyamora, you don't have to rely on just music to help you feel better," Russia said as he walked a bit closer, which in response made Germany step back a bit. "What else can I do?" Germany questioned looking down. "You can talk to me," Russia answered and gently held Germany's hand. Germany looked back up to Russia's worried expression. "It's not that simple," Germany protested but Russia silenced him with a hug.

"I can handle it, I'll handle it," Russia stated. Germany slowly hugged back with trembling hands. Russia felt Germany's breathing getting heavy and unstable as he trembled more. "Are you crying?" Russia asked. Germany only nodded and hugged tighter. "Do you want to talk about it?" Russia asked again. "...I-I'm n-not r-read-dy...." Germany replied quietly.

Germany stopped feeling the ground and he looked down to see that Russia had carried him up. "Sorry, it was getting a bit uncomfortable with how short you are," Russia chuckled. Germany hit Russia's shoulder weakly and pouted. "I'm not short! You're just a giant!" Germany exclaimed as he wiped his tears away.

Russia chuckled as he pressed against Germany shoulder. Germany let a small squeak out and felt his face get warm. He wrapped his arms around Russia's neck in fear he could fall. What was that? Why did his face feel so warm? Why is he suddenly feeling a bit dizzy and out of mind? He's a man! He can't possible fall for Russia... right?

"Is it bad I think I like you...?" Germany mumbled. He gasped and quickly pushed away as he realized he literally mumbled that right into Russia's ear. "N-no! That's not what I meant! I swear I-" Germany didn't get to finished as Russia leaning in for a quick peck on his lips. The two stared at each other, Germany clearly very flustered but Russia was no different.

"No.... I don't think its bad if you like me," Russia stated. Russia you sad fool, if only you knew who Germany really was, would you have hated him? Would you have dropped him to the floor on the spot and left him? Would you hate him with all your soul as he couldn't help but love you with all of his?

"Lyamora, you're crying again," Russia mentioned. Germany only pulled in and hugged Russia tighter. "Y-you're so mean... how could you make me feel like this..." Germany mumbled quietly. "You don't like it?" Russia asked nervously. "I don't know..." Germany mumbled as he nuzzled closer.

"Do you like me?" Russia chuckled. Germany only shook his head, "No... I love you, dummkopf." By saying that it made him feel worse as he cried harder. "Lyamora?" Russia asked with concern and worry.

"I-I'm so s-sorry! I-I s-shouldn't... I s-shouldn't make u-us f-feel this w-way! I-In th-the end... I'm o-only h-hurting b-both of u-us more!" Germany apologized as he kept sobbing. "Lyamora, feelings always hurt. But it doesn't matter, that's the point of love. Nothing else would matter," Russia said as he gently kissed Germany's wet cheek.

"I-It's not r-right..." Germany stuttered. "Lyamora, we're literally engaged," Russia chuckled but that didn't seem to lift the mood at all.

"...Russia, I'll be going home next week, Ja?" Germany asked as he wiped his tears. Russia only nodded in response.

"On the night before that day, I want to tell you everything."
