As you walked into work you could tell people were staring, even without looking. Of course people were staring. Why wouldn't they? Oh here comes Y/N, the sad sap who lost their best friend so a psychopath. Quick everyone show pity.

"Hey, Y/N, helloooooo??" A mildly impatient voice called to you. Without thinking at all, you whipped your head to face them and snapped, "What the hell do you want?!"
The employee looked taken slightly aback by your response, looking at you for a few moments before shaking their head slightly, "You're keeping the water running. You've been staring at the sink for nearly an hour." They said, reaching over and turning the sink off. "Oh." You said, looking away. Well that was a bad first impression. "Name's Faye by the by, you should probably get home, I don't know why you came in so soon." A slight smile pulled at their lips but they didn't give in to it. God how could something as simple as a smirk remind you of Kato?? This was infuriating. "Hey! Y/N did ya hear me?"
"Huh?" You looked at Faye awkwardly.
"Guess not. I said my name is Faye. Let's just get you to the break room and decide where to go from there, alright?" They managed an awkward smile this time, gently taking your arm and guiding you out of the staff restroom.

The walk from the restrooms to the break room wasn't all that bad. Aside from the screaming children and gremlins running around, they mostly steered clear of you. It'd likely be because Faye took you in front of the stage instead through the sea of chaos.
You'd ended up stopping in front of the stage, something about the animatronics felt.... off... to you. You had a hard time placing your finger on it, and settled for their movements. They were jerky and yet somehow still fluid like a person's; kind of like as if a child was doing the robot dance. As you stared up at the stage, studying the animatronics passively, you couldn't help but notice Freddy was looking back at you. The two of you made eye contact for a split second before Faye nudged you to grab your attention. "Jeez, you really need to take more time off. You're freaking the kids out with that staring." They pulled you towards the break room and opened the door for you. How can someone so small be so irritating? Where do they store that kind of personality?

Once in the break room, you collapsed into a chair with a sigh and put your face in your hands. You were so tired... you slept for nearly two days straight and you still want to sleep. Those weird dreams keep waking you up though, you have no idea what they mean or why they're bothering you all of a sudden- before you could get lost in your thoughts again, Faye pulled out some coins from their pocket and dropped them haphazardly onto the table as they sat down. "So," Faye looked at you with a studying eye, "Did Mr. Afton call you in or do you not know how much time you're allowed to take off?" You looked at them for a moment, moving your hands so that you were just supporting your chin, "Both I guess.. He said I could come in if I wanted, I guess we're low on employees or something." Faye scoffed at your words, "We're overstaffed, no one's doing their job like they should so everyone gets paid for sitting on their butts and playing like..... Among Us or something. It's annoying."

"Among us?" You snorted, albeit forced, "I can't believe that game's still around."
"Me neither!" Fate let out an exasperated sigh, leaning on the wall by the door, "You know Spectre? It's all he plays." Fye rubbed their eyes dramatically, flailing them upwards with a groan, "The only thing he does around here is talk. He could talk you to death to be honest! And I'm not gonna lie, if he goes on another thirty minute rant about how the moon landing was fake I'm going to loose my shit."
You laughed a bit, having leaned on your arm while you were listening to them talk, "I can tell you don't get along with him very well."
"No kidding!" Faye huffed, crossing their arms. "I physically cannot sit through a pubescent teenager try to be a conspiracy theorist. I CANNOT!"
