You and Kato called in on Monday, taking a vacation day. You couldn't help but appreciate the day off. Especially since the weekend was restless and crazy. You had another nightmare episode while hanging out with Kato on Saturday. It was worse than the one before. You had found yourself in Freddy FazBear's. The same golden rabbit, this time not moldy and dead, had lead you and some other kids into a back room. It all happened so fast you still couldn't quite piece it all together. You were still trying to right now.
"Hey." Kato elbowed you gently in the side. "Did you hear me?" You blinked for a second, realizing you spaced out. "What? Oh. No, sorry. What did you say?"
Kato sighed heavily, rolling their eyes. "I said that we could go see a movie. I think there's a Spider-Man one that just came out." They smiled and nudged you. "I know how much you like thoooseee." You couldn't help but return the smile, letting out a short laugh. "You got me there." They always seem to know you better than you know yourself.
Now that your day was decided, you told your friend you were going to head home for a quick nap. You both deserved it honestly. Kato's recent nightmares along with yours. You prayed to whatever was watching above that you both get some good sleep. Though you ... didn't expect that prayer to be answered. Like at all.
You walked into your apartment with a sigh and closed the door, locking it. Then you kicked your shoes off, sighed once more, and collapsed onto your bed, drifting off rather easy.

Hey guys I'm sorry for the unnaturally short update today. (Was kinda hoping to forget about this cursed thing but someone asked for an update so) I hit writers block so this chapter might seem a bit awkward. I do have a start of running ideas for the next few chapters so hopefully they'll come more frequently and longer than this one haha... 😅
Anyways I hope quarantine is treating you well, keeping in touch with friends and all. Rough time for us all. But we can get through it together!
