The sun was already shining by the time I woke up meaning I was probably already late.

Quickly I got up from my bed, did my hair and put on my school uniform. "Y/n don't be late like always I can't take you today so you may need to run to school!" My mom called out from down stairs she too was getting ready for work. "Don't worry he's coming to pick me up today so I'll be fine" I yell back to her but wasn't so sure if she heard me or not.

By the time I got down to the kitchen she was already gone. "Wouldn't kill you to say good-morning" I silently whisper to myself pouring a glass of orange juice as I waited for my ride.

*Honk*

He's here. I picked up my bag and headed outside locking the door. "I came 10 minutes early expecting you to be still in bed!" The boy in the car yells out to me in a teasing tone. "Gosh I forgot to close my curtains so the sun woke me up" I say getting into the car. He chuckles nodding as we make our way to school.

"Ready?" He says as he starts getting out of the car to go meet his friends. "She didn't oversleep this time did she?" One of his friends walk ik to me flicking me on the forehead. "I'm not a little kid and I know right I even surprised myself" I say accepting they teasing since it was true. "Well Taeyong said he wanted to see your lyrics  and go over them later" he says walking away with him. "Y/n don't forget we have practice" the boy says as he's walking away from me.

"Just don't be late like you always are Johnny!" I call out to him as I walk over to my friends. Me and him and a couple of his friends were in a band together. Although I never performed with them I wrote all their songs so I was a part of their team in some way. "Dude his friends are so cute when are you going to introduce me!" My friend Sol says tugging on my arm. "I would but you need someone better and someone who can treat you well" I tell her. "You mean to tell me Lucas isn't that type of man" my other friend Sohee says not believing a thing I just said.

As much as I hung out with Johnny and his friends they weren't ever going to be enough for my friends to be with them. All they ever cared about was making music and having fun. All of them weren't the type to believe in love unless it had something to do with music.

"Come on we don't want the teacher to scold us do we?" Sol says taking me and Sohee by the arm and dragging us into the classroom. "Our great y/n wasn't late today!" Jaemin says sitting on my desk. Yes I was known as the girl who was always late in the class and received the most punishments.

As the final bell rang the teacher walked in, "I take it y/n is late- yet" "nope I'm here early" I say as another one of my classmate and friend of Johnny runs in out of breath, "I'm here teach-" he says gasping for air. "Jaehyun go outside" he says completely ignoring the fact that I was early for once.

School of course was always boring but at the same time I knew it was one of the best moments of my life. "So y/n are we going tonight?" Sol whispers next to me while she was writing down the math notes. I lazily looked up at here confused as to what she was talking about. "Oh come on you know what I'm talking about she says handing me a piece of paper," the paper had a show time written down and the familiar band name.

The boys band, being high schoolers in a band and playing outside in clubs was a risky move as we might be caught by our teachers but the boys did it anyway because they were living their dreams. "I might you know I wrote all their songs can't let them take in all the glory" I say with a light chuckle on my face. Sol happily nods when I told her.

"Yah y/n! Sol! I saved you a seat!" Sohee waves at us from across the lunch table. As we walked towards them I was stopped by a tall person standing in front of me. "Sorry Sol I know I mean well but can I borrow her for a bit?" He tells my sweet but a little naive friend. Sol gives him a blank stare but you could tell she was flustered by him. "I I um yeah sure....just bring her back" she awkwardly says as she walked over to where Sohee was.

"You know Taeyong you don't need to flirt with every girl you see" I say following him to where he and his friends were enjoying their lunch. Johnny grabs my arm and sits me down next to him while Taeyong sits across from me with a folder on the table.

"Choose which songs we should sing today" he says. I take a bite of my food while looking over the display of songs they had. "What vibe you guys going with them?" I ask them departing the upbeat songs and the ballads. "It's a club so we need some dance music" Jisung says grabbing one of the sheets and reading it.

That didn't help at all considering all the songs they had in front of me. "Well we can take all the ballads and sad songs out of the equation" I say giving them back to Taeyong. "Let's not forget we need songs for every unit play?" Lucas says pinching my cheek and then earning a slap from Johnny.

The rest of lunch was spent with me telling them what songs they should perform and giving them my ideas for the next song.

It's always been like this I wrote and they sang it was never going to change it was perfect.

I didn't like the old story line so I decided to edit it completely and re write it so I hope you like this new version.
