Closing the door (Y/N) began his walk to the gates of hell.
School was so tedious, everything they taught he already knew and any attempt they made to stump him was for nothing. This 'know it all' persona did not make (Y/N) popular at all, while it was nothing more than light shoving and name calling (Y/N)'s parents believed it was vicious bullying. So that also adds to the enormous list of reasons why it was hell.
However, despite the place being the most boring place on Earth (Y/N) still considered it to be valuable. If it weren't for school he would've had to endure his mothers torture (which was nothing more than simple chores).
Approaching the gates of hell (Y/N) realised how much of a moron he had been this morning, his book bag was empty.Meaning that he didn't have his homework, pencil case or anything he needed. How on Earth did he not feel that there was no weight in the bag.Which led to this question he asked himself
"Did Claire really fall over after getting hit the an empty book bag?"
Groaning in frustration (Y/N) turned his head and debated sprinting home to collect his stuff but decided against it, because frankly he couldn't give a toss.
Turning his head back towards the school (Y/N) noticed the same cat perching on the same fence.
Everyday since Monday (Y/N) would see the cat and could swear he had noticed it following in around school when they had break as well as going to and from school.
The cat itself was a silver tabby and was a very peculiar animal, with (Y/N) swearing on his life it was almost human-like in terms of intelligence.
"Why the hell does this bother me so much"-groaned (Y/N).
It was his biggest flaw, if ever he didn't know something he would fixate on it to the point where it almost became an unhealthy obsession.
He would have an answer for everything but this week was one he couldn't explain, with the self opening wardrobe and the odd cat and it reflected in his mood.
He became more and more irritated with each day that past at this point. He may as well have a permanent frown and scowl on his face.In fact the only time he felt like his normal self was with his family as they could usually make him forget about all that was happening.(Y/N) was floating on a cloud because of the morning with his family, now his mood was once again becoming sour, (Y/N) sighed and walked past the gates entering the school.
McGonagall's POV
She had been watching the boy for 5 days now and was growing more and more worried.
Knowing what Dumbledore was planning and having no way of stopping the stubborn old fool, she resorted to spying on the boy trying to find anything that may persuade Dumbledore to not give him that damn letter. However, she had found out nothing more other than he was an intelligent boy who was strong willed and anti-social.While he may be cold to seemingly anyone else, he had a strong connection with his family. In fact the only times she saw the boy smile was with his family, his other facial expressions were nothing more than scowls and frowns.
Hardly anything to deny him entry to Hogwarts knowing Dumbledore.
McGonagall hissed remembering a conversation she had with Dumbledore just last week.
"Albus you must give in to reason"-McGonagall half yelled.
"While I don't wish to offend you Minerva I seem to be the only one being reasonable regarding this 'issue' as you call it"-said Dumbledore handwriting the letter.
"Albus what if the Ministry found out what you're doing. They will most likely send the boy home after placing a memory charm on him or perhaps even worse"
