Once again the distorted voices began to speak, and once again they were words (Y/N) couldn't decipher and turning back even more confusion presented itself. The sign hung over the distorted figures like an omen.
"What in the hell is an Eganahpro anyway?"
The blurry people moved past (Y/N) and he just kept staring at the sign until he felt his own body begin to move on its own. He felt like his own legs were acting on the orders of someone else and he could do nothing but let them take him to wherever he was meant to go.
He walked past door after door and any that were open just showed complete blackness, they showed the dark void. He walked and walked until the three people came to a stop. In front of a door where they all them walked inside the room ahead. Forced to follow them, (Y/N) entered the room and saw a small child using a colouring book.
"Now as I have mentioned, he hasn't been much of a talker since he came to the Orphanage."
"Ohh. Eganahpro, Orphanage. That makes sense now."
"However since you two said you felt like he was the right child, I'm confident that won't shake your faith in choosing (Y/N)."
"Wait...that's my na-"
The woman cleared her throat, move towards the child, tapped him on the shoulder and spoke clearly.
"(Y/N). Do you remember Adam and Eve (L/N)? They're here to take you to your new home."
"Wait what? No...this can't be real. I'm not...they aren't my real parents?"
Then (Y/N) was slapped in the face by the truth.
His mother suddenly became recognisable and she looked exactly like the first picture (Y/N) had ever seen of the two together, she looked so much younger.
Although it should feel like a happy moment, (Y/N) felt like he was forced to watch his mother crouch down and speak to him.
"Ooh that's a very nice picture (Y/N). Do you want to finish that back in our house? I'm sure your new brothers and sister will help you."
"No...this isn't real. This has to be made up somehow."
Using all his strength, (Y/N) managed to move his legs. He may of toppled over but that meant he could get out of this hellhole. He scrambled to get up and started to sprint down the corridors of the Orphanage, as the walls and floors began to crack and the whole building seemed to be collapsing in on itself.
(Y/N) managed to make it out of the building but as soon as he opened the front door, he stepped onto nothing. If (Y/N) was careful he wouldn't have fallen. However (Y/N) had let go of the door and unfortunately began falling deep into the void below.
As he fell deeper and deeper, vivid memories began to flash in his head. Memories of his family kept popping up, every birthday, every time his mum scolded him for swearing, every hug, ever kiss on the cheek or forehead.
Every happy memory (Y/N) had of them, they flashed right before him and they left him with a bittersweet feeling.
(Y/N) kept falling deeper and deeper until suddenly a hole ripped its way in the blackness and kept getting bigger until the void was replaced by a great blue sky and land far down below.
(Y/N) was fell through the hole and began free falling from what must have been the altitude planes fly at. He felt the wind rushing in his ears and he could do nothing to prevent what should be his death. The landscape seemed so small but (Y/N) knew it was inevitable until he met the ground.
