Weeks had passed by now, with Cordelia growing to become close friends with EJ. She had even learned EJ was dating someone, but that he was working to get Slenderman to allow them to live at the mansion.
Masky still hadn't forgiven Cordelia, and ever since then, the two had been in a constant prank war.
It had been early morning, while everyone else slept, that Masky prepared for his proudest prank.
He knew that Cordelia was usually the one who woke up first, and he had learned that Cordelia, ever since starting to use her water powers, now no longer had control of her Siren form. She'd switch to it whenever she manipulated or came into contact with water.
When Cordelia awoke that same morning and walked into the living room after taking a shortcut through the kitchen to it, a bucket filled to the brim with water toppled over and spilled its contents on her, making her swiftly change into her Siren form.
Cordelia let out a loud frustrated scream, which sent many people fumbling down the stairs to see what happened, only to see a very angry Cordelia flopping around, Siren tail hanging limp as she crawled to get a towel.
Masky, of course, was the only one to laugh at her misfortune that he had caused. "Masky I swear to god. I am getting back at you."
And that she did. When everyone was out, she decided to record herself singing, and replaced the music Masky usually listened to on his phone with her singing. Yes, it was cruel, but he had humiliated her, so she was going to humiliate him.
When Masky turned on his music that night, he immediately shot up and began to walk in a trance towards the kitchen, where everyone was celebrating for some odd reason.
They began laughing, as Masky was in nothing but his embarrassing pajamas, which were rainbows.. Who knew the tough, stoic-faced Masky was into rainbow pajamas?
When the next morning finally came, Masky did not hear the end of him and his adventures in his rainbow pajamas.
And that finally marked the end of their prank war. Much to everyone's relief.
