Chapter 47 : "..What did you say..?"

Nashi's POV.

After the scene in the bathroom, we took a bath together in complete silence and didn't speak ever since that.

~Couple Days Later~

"Nashi.. Can we talk..?"

Rose asked me with Gale and Sylv behind her. I sat up in the armchair and put my phone down.

"Sure."

I smiled at them nervously.

"So.."

Sylvia started.

"You know how bad Rin's condition was.. right?"

Rose asked me. I nodded.

"Well.. uhm.. the thing is..."

"Rin died on the day you left."

Gale cut Sylv off. My eyes widened in confusion.

"What??"

I asked them in disbelief. They were looking at me confused. I stared at them looking even more confused.

"How can he be dead? I met him literally a week ago."

Their eyes widened.

"What?!?!?!"

They yelled.

"How?!!? We buried his body and everything!!"

"Ah.. So I was right after all."

Nova spoke from the stairs. We looked at her.

"You knew?!"

Rose shouted.

"Don't be mad, widow. I was only suspecting. It really was hallucination magic after all."

"How did you become suspicious?"

Nova's lover asked her.

"When you're using hallucination magic you need a body, or an object, that roughly resembles the person or object you're trying to make a hallucination of, right? Well, I was suspicious simply because Rin has a mole on the back of his left hand. Well on the 'body' we buried, it was on the right."

She said as she walked over to us. We stayed in silence for a couple of seconds. I laughed. They looked at me. I put on a grin and looked at Rose.

"Rosey, you didn't notice that?? Even though you are the girlfriend?"

We laughed at Rosemary's red expression. She was blushing hard.

"H-He's not my boyfriend..!!"

I smirked at her.

"Who is he to you then? Crush?"

"W-well.. Uhm.. "

"Don't worry, I know how annoying a Fullbuster male can be."

I laughed.

"You know what's funny?.."

I stood up still smirking. They all looked at me pretty confused.

"When I met Rin.. He was telling me how everyone's doing... How Emma was a raging mess when she got back and found out that I'm gone... How Sylvia and Lucas were doing... How Nova and Sylv have been going on double dates... Every single detail. It's like he was there seeing it happen."

I looked around.

"I never taught you're spying on your friends like that Rin! I bet you learned that from your Brother! He's always just watching in silence too!"
