           Third person POV

Darkness had taken over the daylight when Delilah snapped back to reality. She had a smile at the same time her face held tears that kept streaming down as she recalled. She smiled at the memory of her throwing that tantrum when she even diagnosed herself as a psychotic person. How he was able to deal with her was beyond her. She missed him so much maybe if he was still here….. “Come on Delilah don’t go back there,” Delilah reprimanded herself. She didn’t want to close over to the world of what ifs like her psychiatrist had told her it is not going to be good for her. She had finally decided to go visit a psychiatrist so as to appease herself. This is what the world has brought her to. She did this for him and her grandma. If her grandma was here she would have told her to keep on fighting and not to let the world have the last laugh. That’s all she’s been trying to do to fight and stay on top even if it means seeing a psychiatrist then she can just to make that woman proud. And since she promised herself not to let any of them get to her so she decided to go see one that way they’ll not have the pressure of seeing their accomplishment which was seeing her crushed beyond repair. Delilah woke up and dusted herself then went back to her penthouse.
******
Back at the penthouse she decided to go for a swim at least to relax her tense muscles. A good swim always fixed that for her better than even a massage but she would give up that swim in order to have him massage her he was the only one who knew where to press. Now thinking about it she missed him so much no matter how much she tried to deny the cruel fate he'll never come back to her.
A chapter of them being a couple had been closed to never be opened again.
As she swam she kept trying not to think about her pain but everything always led back to him no matter how little it was. So having not have achieved her goal for relaxing she got out of the pool and headed for a hot bath.
As she lay there in the bath tub she closed her eyes at the warm relaxation felling she had. This had her memories flowing back but she didn’t try to stop her self as she relaxed herself in the bath tub.
She recalled of how she was happy after her finals. Anyway everyone is happy to have to finish school. So that day they had organized a party back at Erik’s and Scar’s house to celebrate their accomplishment.

The party had gone on the whole night and that was when she had told the group that her and Derik were moving in. Derik was over the moon. Though basically it’s like they were living together cause most of the time Derik was around they slept together either Delilah would come over or Derik would go over but with this he’d always go back home to find her.
This got him so happy. Everyone congratulated the couple and wished them luck. This would be a new beginning Delilah thought to herself.
After the party Derik had followed Delilah to her apartment and helped her pack. They had decided to go with Derik's apartment as it was larger. After they had packed up their bags, the set of to Derik’s while sending the mover to move the things so that they could be donated to one of the needy families. Though she decided to keep her dresser and a couch those were her favorite as they had bought them with her grandma.
The move had been easy and not as hard as she hard anticipated. Derik was home more often and everything was awesome. Delilah helped Derik run her business and she went ahead to suggest changes that he needed to make.
Derik had inherited the construction company from his grandpa. Back when he was given the mandate to run the company Derik didn’t want to but because it was his grandpa wishes he did.
Just like Delilah, Derik adored his grandpa as his father had died in a car crush back when he was seven and depression ate his mother after her father’s death she passed on later on when Derik was thirteen. Delilah and his grandpa are the only people who were with him even back then.
The little girl had made him feel much better after loosing his mother she always tried to cheer him up despite of her being lonely. So Even if Derik’s dream was to run a real estate business or a fashion house he had to help his grandpa. And that was when Delilah had told him that with the construction company he could branch it with a real estate one since it basically catered for housing.
Derik had taken her idea into consideration and now he was happy both fulfilling his Grandpa’s wish and him getting to live his dream all thanks to his girlfriend.
After a month of them staying together Derik had went ahead to share his desire of wanting to build a family with Delilah and of course she was happy to agree. They had even made arrangements for their babies. She wanted a baby boy while Derik wanted to have twins.
Back at the bath tub Delilah chuckled as she recalled how Derik had gone crazy while looking for the designs that would suit their babies room. It was one of her happiest days.
After she was done with the shower she put on one of her pajama short and tank top.
Bored by staying idle and since she didn’t have anything to do and watching movies, reading and playing one game after the other was not helping as much she decided some work wouldn’t harm her. So much for a work free vacation ?. She thought. She headed to where she had tossed her laptop and went ahead to start her work.
While at it she recalled that her laptop was charge less. “Where did I hide my charger ah!.” She had put her charger somewhere inside the small suitcase it should be there she thought to herself. So she walked back to her closet and took out her case and started rummaging through it.
While at it she found a framed picture. She had tried so much to have a peaceful vacation but how did she have this photograph here. It would only make matters worse.
As much as she tried she found herself hugging it and then tracing her fingers over his face, his lips as she recalled how those lips tasted and how he always put a smug face when he knew he was right or had won an argument.
She kept tracing all over the picture then the tears that she had tried so much to weld in were out in a second.
She cried hugging his picture chanting “why did you leave and you promised?” Come one you promised then why did you break your promise.”
You know in a way you are just like all of them you left me. You didn’t even think of how you leaving me all alone would make me feel. Then why did you make fake promises. Delilah thought to herself as she continued crying.
